It´s a more serious topic in which I try to explain how and why the Industrial Dance Community das Klub ended. Thank you for everyone who was active on there. And despite the end thank you very much too the Admin for keeping it alive for so long.

♡ Thank you speaking up, and clarifying a few things. The community lives on through us... Das Klub has given us a lot, and for that I am deeply grateful. I wouldn't know you without it! ♡ The community can still be as strong as it ever was as long as we continue to share it and keep it going. It seems that a lot of the US is only waking up to what it's all about now... :)))
The ending is what it was, and I can understand his frustrations. I understand yours as well. I will do my bit to keep the community going through dance video projects and so on. Thank you for all that you bring to the community as well Ciwana ♡ xx

Das Klub made tons of good stuff.....but the community doesnt just go away just because a leader steps down.

I was a part of the scene a few years ago, but I never really felt welcome and never made any friends there. Still sad to hear it, even after so many years. I remember Das Klub, too, and it was a sad moment to see it closing.
I was pretty upset about it... Everyday, our scene is dying a little bit... Our favorite clubs close, the parties disappear, the shops closes, the designers stop designing, the communities dies...
That is very sad! I really wish I could help making it get stronger and united again.

That is what i notice too, clubs close everything is mainstream now. very sad.
it is strange that the community is dying because all the cyber both dance videos on UA-cam are getting millions of views. so much more attention then they used to. you'd think the community is actually growing.
I am not sure what is or will happening. But I hope it´s only a change of generation and Industrial Dancing is heading to a new high in a few years.
Arielapetraglia it makes me sad too. People are losing their individuality in our culture as conformity turns us all into mindless robots.
It is kind of a coincident that a great local alternative club just has to close to down too. I am talking about Vereniging de Vinger.
Yes, you were the way I found out about Das Klub. You were the face, and such a nice face! :-) I am sad about it, but the calendars were top notch and it's a shame. Thankfully you're still around. Love ya and keep dancing!

This is typical for this scene....
I understand his decision and have deep respect for his dedication but I don't like how he ended it, imho it is just unfair and dsirespectful for everyone who also tried to support this project.
I guess I will do another video on this, I have been one of the most active forum users with over 300 posts and felt like one of the core members of DasKlub in the last four-five years.

Let's just give our best to keep this scene up and running
For years I enjoyed to come to their UA-cam channel and watch their videos, it's such a *BIG LET DOWN* for their supporters to do this nonsense.
I am really sad seeing this, just getting into this scene. I've had thoughts if it is worth to still try getting into the scene, but listening to industrial every day driving to work just proves it is I guess. The end of dasklub proves Industrial dance is no business, but I hope it is still a passion.
You are young and smart, where one thing ends another begins.
Its not dead....it is going to mutate into something differant.
this is so sad, this was pretty much my childhood from when i was 13 i loved das klub and it meant alot to me to know there was someone else who liked the same music as me but it just died over the years (i made an account on das klub when i was 13 but the admin eventually deleted it saying i was too young) now theres no one who shares my interests and industrial music always has and continues 4 years later to still make me happy. Wish i never found out it got deleted :'(

The fact that this happened not long ago, on the other hand, just started industrial dancing for like 2 months makes me really sad, i dont wish to see the whole cyber goth scene die
We don´t want it to die either. And we have some pretty cool new bands coming along. =) I think we will keep it alive and maybe make it better then before.

Thanks for the update Ciwana.. It's a sorry loss for the European Industrial Community and I have seen this happen before with other pages.. Thankfully places like Vampire Freaks still knock around despite not been overly active with Europeans but still supports the Community as a whole and I'm sure we will endure for many years to come much like the Goth community. much loves to all that are part of the community and see you all around some day.

That is sadly true, Facebook was the death of MySpace and vampire freaks has survived purely because it aimed at ppl of alternative lifestyles.
Hopefully the legacy of Das Klub will live on through these communities 🤘

I'm sad that your club thing has ended - but it really doesn't reflect badly on you. You did a great job as the face of it. You're the only reason I even know about it at all, so you obviously did your job well. You were not to know that it was going to disappear. I can sympathise - we've lost so many clubs & places where goths & rivetheads used to meet. It's rotten when you sink so much effort into a thing & it still ends up folding.
True. I also feel really sorry for the Admin to have to say goodbye to such a big project after so long time.
Just wondering has the admin/guy running das klub thought about opening up shares to the people to help raise money to keep das klun going? Only way I know of das klub is from you ciwana and it sounds like a good place you spoke about in your vlogs

Damn. I know Admin had voiced frustration even a few years ago. It's the finacial/mental strain of running and keeping the site going that was not self sustaining. Guess he finally gave it up. Wish it could have fared better.
ok, but that stills doesn't explains why they take down all FREE social media sites and MUSIC VIDEOS here in UA-cam...
I'm not sure what that has to do with Das Club... Social media sites usually fail for basically the same reason Das Club is closed. As for music on UA-cam... Probably copyright issues.
If copyright were the issue on their UA-cam channel, then they would had taken only the videos were the copyright was claimed. They take down all their uploaded videos, that was unnecessary, what was their goal by doing that?
Oh, you mean the Das Club UA-cam? Well, I can only speculate on that, but I'd imagine it was just a "sweep and clear", so to speak. Imagine you had a project, spent years on it, your own money and after all you tried it never took off... He might have just wanted all traces of it gone. It sucks, but you have to see where he is coming from.
I hope this is not the end of industrial dancing, seemed like there were allot more dancers back in 2011 especially on the das Klub site. Very sad, met some great people there. I came to the site because it was a place where you could be yourself.

Es ist leider typisch für diese und andere Szenen. Ich betreibe selber ein größeres Projekt seit 13 Jahren. Es gab viele tolle Momente aber auch viel Arbeit und Ärger. Unberechtigte Anzeigen, Leute die Forderungen an einen kostenlosen Dienst stellen bis hin zu Morddrohungen gegen mich und meine Familie. Es nimmt immer mehr zu und auch ich werde irgendwann einfach "Nein" sagen. Über die Art der Schließung kann man diskutieren aber trotzdem 110% Verständnis.
