      I agree 100% that we as Men need to be 100% if a man wants a woman to shut up and do what he says then he needs to pay for everything.
      That’s fair
      Both Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence spoke on this in the 80’s.
      If a man wants 100% Cooperation from a Woman then he needs to be paying 100% of the running costs.

      Sofia X That is simply a boundary that you set for yourself. Most men who are established and has money, assets, and investments, and most likely wants to get married will not be 32, unless you are trying to land a celebrity man, a lotto winner, or a trust fund baby. Even still, he may not want to marry you, or have children with you. Even if you do have his child, you will get child support but if he gets married later on, you and your children will be excluded from his inheritance.
      If you believe in hypergamy, it would make sense to marry a man who is established and have assets that will have you and your children set up well into the future. If you wait until in your 40s, when you sexual value declines drastically, you become overweight and your looks fade, the likelihood goes waaaaaay down. You will still have to work, keep up your looks, and settle for a lower value man.

    I'm a brother that has had to rise from the ashes. I'm a blue collar Henry. I gave up everything to a traditional woman turned modern woman. I am a traditional provider man. My ex wife didn't have to work to pay significant bills. She wanted to go to school,so I paid for schooll,bought a house,luxury cars, the whole nine yards. When she graduated and started making her own money,then states that my money was chump change,that was the beginning of the end. So when the marriage was over I allowed her to keep all of the things acquired and I started from scratch.
    Now I have a new traditional wife,multiple acres of land, 2 houses and luxury cars. I have started a nonprofit business which is very profitable. My income has tripled. When a man is the BAG no one or nothing can stop him from being high value.

    My dad is a Nigerian man, retired professional, provides for his family, no-nonsense, straight talker, tell- it-like-it-is kind of guy. Harsh but honest. 🤷🏾‍♀️ No “daddy’s little girl”, spoiling/princess, gives-me-whatever I want $$ relationship with us. He made it his goal to pay for our college and that’s more than a lot of parents do, so I’m so grateful to him.
    I have such a thick skin now partly because of him. However did pick up some of that harshness and I had to learn to tone it down a bit. No one likes a black woman- or any woman really- being that harsh because it becomes unfeminine and men don’t want to deal with it. My dad showed me a good example of how a man should be. I’m married with kids now and I hope to raise them with the same values.

    Interesting topic. My husband is a very giving man. He has been giving me gifts way before we were even dating. We have a son and has been carrying a wallet since 7, wearing spray cologne since around 10 and he has been wearing a watch since 12. My son when he wants something instead of asking us for it he will ask to work for extra money. He will buy me treats when he has money and he has bought me dinner as well. He takes money out of his savings account to purchase Christmas gifts and he just turned 15 years old.

    Hypergamy has acquired 2 meanings. The first one you are talking about is what women should be. Women should seek out the most high quality men. If you are beautiful you can get lots of men. If you have virtuous, submissive, valuable qualities, you can land a great man. She is an asset to the man. That type of hypergamy is awesome. It makes the men perform better and be better. A man must acquire power.
    The other meaning of hypergamy is that a woman is always looking to trade up. You could be a great man handling things but once she has access to everything, she will move on to the next guy. This is the type of hypergamy that men are concerned about. You see it in athletes where they have made it. The family and their children are set for life but once he retires from the game, she is done with him and takes half.
    Not always on the same page as you but definitely some great hard truths spoken. This has inspired me to grind even more and push myself even harder.

      Why else would you raise a generation of children to believe "all men bad" or "all persons of a certain skin color are bad" or "this other group with a different skin color can't succeed on their own unless we hold others back".

    If you want to own it all and control it all, then you MUST pay for it all!!! This is why visiting a marriage counselor before a wedding, and getting an airtight prenuptial is essential. “50/50” to a woman means that she’s paid a fee to not to have to do whatever she wants, and that marital respect and compliance is optional.

    • @mrroycejayflochi3302
      @mrroycejayflochi3302 4 роки тому +11

      Kareem jenkins Marriage as we know it is approximately 200yrs old. Prenuptial agreements, visiting marriage counselors and divorce attorneys, getting background and credit checks, and visiting a doctors as a couple BEFORE getting married is a very new approach, and much cheaper than waiting until after the marriage has occurred. Doing so removes the “veil” of surprise and disappointment and reduces risk. Putting the accountability on each partner before the marriage takes place leaves the door open to leave before greater damage is done, and keeps everyone involved more honest. Do you see where I’m coming from?

    • @mrroycejayflochi3302
      @mrroycejayflochi3302 4 роки тому +4

      Kareem jenkins Ultimately, the “Marriage” isn’t the relationship, which is why the state is involved in marriage as opposed to relationships. Ultimately, the relationship is the most important thing. Being married for almost 25yrs myself, I see the value in what Kevin says, especially since he’s been divorced twice. One can learn much more from failure than they can from success. And one can really learn a lot from learn from the wisdom of those who have failed because they’ve already been through the trials and tribulations of the journey. All the things I personally speak of about how to approach marriage before the wedding is because of the things I learned after bumping my head through the marriage journey. As a Married man, I agree with quite a bit of what Kevin is saying because I’ve seen it in other places and aspects.

      @mrroycejayflochi3302 4 роки тому +5

      majesticj42 The thing is that we have to leave the religious books out of the marriage discussion because marriage is secular, which is different than the relationship. Marriage is a contract between the State/Government and the people involved. Therefore, marriage is a business arrangement. To be the boss of a business, then you must own and control all shares, which mean you MUST FINANCE IT ALL. There’s a very good reason that the saying “Paid the cost to be the Boss” exists.

    • @mrroycejayflochi3302
      @mrroycejayflochi3302 4 роки тому +3

      majesticj42 No, doubt. That’s why I came up with those points to consider prior to getting into marriage. Stop saying that marriage is just a piece of paper...So is money but you get up everyday and work hard for it. So work hard for your relationship, and your marriage.

    Dont even feel bad man I'm a young 24yo male , I can be honest and admit that I indeed have not a thing going on in life today aside from investments. No job , no not broke because there are investments , but none the less I have absolutely not a thing going for myself as of today and there are reasons for that I am well aware of my current status. But everything you've said and covered is indeed true. I can validate because I hang on both sides of the fense. At times I'm looking for a deal , but when able I pay full price maybe even throw a little tip in if I liked your overall service. So anybody just whining and looking for pity or trying to tell you that you're harassing anyone is just a overly sensitive male who 9/10 KNOWS that you are completely correct but is in so much denial they can't even take responsibility. That's all that that amounts to , just I just wanted to validate. And I really appreciate men like you , dropping a few jewels , inspire guys like me who's looking to get out of the slump state that I am currently in. You're positivity is flowing straight into me as well as countless others , I love what you are doing and I commend you 🙏 keep it going and may you be blessed.

    I'm 32 and I manage two teams of people in a marketing agency while growing a side business with my brother. I still don't have much money because I re-invest everything. But in five years I will be a savage millionaire.

    None of this bothers me because I live a simple life.
    I dont wanna live in the social norms of today. I dont be out here faking it and i walk proud regardless.
    However a lot of what he says is pretty helpful overall.

    What’s more sad than a “male” complaining about paying for things is when I hear women agree with them.
    My kids’ father paid for EVERYTHING. And never asked me, ever.
