Yeah sure, let's call it "how to commit suicide when trying to skimboard." Skimboarding is for shallow water. even when skimming to deep water, you start the skim on sand or shallow water. What you want to do is some type of daredevil hot dogging. Just don't.
I used to wakeboard since years, and my left foot is back at most, which is not goofy there, my brain is sticked to this. However I tried to hold my skimboard as goofy style and put down, I was not comfortable with it, always hit my leg, etc. The best way for me running with the regular holding and before jumping on it I switch my legs so the left is on the back. Would this cause any loss of speed? I see in your other videos you kind of jump on the board and there’s no loss of speed seen there! Thanks in advance! 🤙
Most skimboard toutorials be like run drop and jump on brooooo, this toutorial. How to run, how to drop, how to run, foot placement best spot, etc OOOOoo yeah. Thats that good shi
Yes, but do it right."Surf wax" goes on top and helps water run off the board and for your feet to grip on the board. Think of is as glue. "Speed wax" is optional and goes on the bottom of the board and makes it slick like rain dance on a car hood. If you apply the wrong wax to the wrong side you're going to fail.
