I think this quote makes the same sentiment, but yes; "power doesn't corrupt people,..." Power reveals the corruption in people (which is a far more simple way of saying "people corrupt power"). But the reason why I think "power reveals the corruption in people" is because not all people are corrupt when given power. But still, regardless AWESOME QUOTE!

Been listening to you guys since my dad found out about you guys when you toured with Creed then saw/helped at your merchandise table when you toured with AlterBridge. The growth you guys have done definitely shows and I am so proud of you guys! Your songs have helped me through so many.moments in my life, like at one point I didn't even think I was going to make it past 18 years old but your music kept me pushing and now I'm 21, married and a little girl almost here. First time i saw Godsmack was when they opened for Metallica in 2004 and holy shit they were insane. The cd's (yeah long time ago lol) although badass themselves did not prepare me at all for how fucking amazing they are live
Same story here, mate - I heard LAS for the first time when they opened for Godsmack on March 30th 2019. And boy was I angry with myself that I didn't give them a proper listen prior to the concert, because only a month later I was alrerady a die-hard fan. Amazing band!

I've never heard this group before. But this song is very interesting. The lead singer is very interesting. It's kind of cute. I wish there was a bit more oomph with this song. It Doesn't grab me. And because it doesn't grab me by my heart and ripped out of my chest you know cuz I'm not sure I really like the song. I mean the Melody's there the beat is there. It just needs a little more.. when the lead singer goes down into that quieter voice. It needs something. In Need Just a Little More aggression with it. It's still a good song it just doesn't grab me. I want to compare him to the group I really love Shinedown when Mr Smith song this song cut the cord that song grab me. I grabbed me or my heart out. I love that song even the song Bully. That song I love. But fishing man singing in this group right now. He could do a lot more with this song if you wanted to. I would love to see him do a remake of this song with a little more grit and a little more aggression with the softer vocals. Just my personal opinion of me I'm sure other people have their own opinions and they do. That's just my personal opinion. I know Shinedown and this guy's group is not the same genre of music. But it's close enough for comparison.

Anybody can avoid being stupid enough to buy into religious influences, but how many of us are strong enough to have put in the fight to understand why we need to be hateful toward and rid ourselves of it? If "hate" or "violence" are dirty words for bad ideas in your book, it might as well be as sabotaged as theirs is, and the distance to here may be further than you think. God is far from a fiction and the God prospect is not the problem. Charlatans hijacking and perverting it is the problem. "God" is something that belongs to us, our collective endeavor. It is not at all a bad idea, that is why they stole it from us and intend to destroy it. Fight back.

I can see where they are coming from. There are so many hypocrites they preach to teach but don't learn from their own words. Being a Christian that has been battle tested and persecuted for who I am. I've been cast to he'll 10 times. I was risen back every time. Its hard to go to church when people act like they care but don't show it in the daily. Just on Sunday and wednesday. So many people don't get what humility is. They profit from speaking Martin Luther kings words but don't live it. Where there is no holy spirit there is no God. I left a church with that problem.
