2:30 Glad you mentioned that. I do thoroughly enjoy waking up early around 4:30am on a Sunday morning to drive my cars around The New Forest and surrounding areas. Beautiful clear sunrise, morning mist, empty roads, no cyclists - utter bliss for us petrolheads.
Thanks Damian, a perfect video to watch on a Friday afternoon. Hope you had a great time on the road trip, atleast you had the weather on your side, from what I can see anyway! Keep up the good work, it's always appreciated 👌
Fantastic - what a day! One of the things I love about this channel is you drive the cars and put miles on them rather than just walk around them telling us the stats. The GT3 Touring is not too flashy, fast, has a manual gearbox and sounds good. Great car for just getting out and driving.
I must say the watch fits the car perfectly in this Video. - The GT3 Touring is so timeless you could still go to the event in 20 years and look good. - Cool Cars, great sounds, and entertaining to watch. Superb Video!
Perhaps my favorite car in the collection. What a wonderful, albeit physically taxing experience. As battered and bruised as your body is, I know you would do it again in a heartbeat. The true essence of driving
How good or bad were the ohlins? What rates are you running on them? 997 gt2 do have much nicer spring rates oem, I suspect even the ohlins run less agressive spring rates as the 991.2 gt cars
Thriller! In honour of Jacko's epoch-making video with midnight darkness, black-clad monsters and red eyes everywhere. Great sound track too, like your GT3.
That Brecon Drive was epic! We had a very early start too but it was worth it. Fortunately our GTS has the 18 way seats so the 338 miles we did that day wasn’t as painful!! Great to meet you too Damian.
What do you think about new seats for the GT3, and to put rear seat as well? I have a manual 991 GTS with the classical adjustable plus seats that i changed because the bucket's ones were killing me. Oh my god, a totally new car, such a sweet everyday driving car, i think that i put on it like 40k kilometers in just two years.
Really enjoyed this video Damien, I agree that the roads of Wales are some of the best in the UK ( but I am biased ), fair play you looked knackered at the end of that ... looking forward to the next one... 👌🏻
I bought my GT3 Touring 5 weeks after a total knee replacement and drove it 2000 k from Mornington peninsular in VIC to Queensland in Aust. The pain was worth it. Get the seat lifting brackets it makes a big difference to those seats. Plan to do a 100000 k in mine as well. Can’t believe people buy these cars and only do 1500 k over 3 years. Really like your videos Thankyou.
Fan-bloody-tastic video! Love this car, I remember when you went and swapped your Carrera T for it, are you still annoyed with the non-leather interior or have you got over it now? 🤔
Brilliant episode Damian, what an epic day.... Given how amazing you (and we) think the GT3 Touring is then you could name it after a DC Comic character with red eyes called “Amazo”, feels pretty apt... although I did like “Christopher Lee” suggestions too....
Great show. Loved it. Again I say your show is the most enjoyable content on youtube by a country mile! GT3 Christopher Lee is good but Pete the Porsche has to be the one because Pete's eyes are that red!
Has to be SR71 Blackbird, the Red glow are it’s afterburners. Had a chat a while back about my own purchase of a car. Ended up with a manual guards 996 Turbo. 50k miles mint and brings a smile to my face every time I look at it. Keep up the great work, makes my Fri Night
This was a good one. A day in a 500hp NA 911, well done. I miss a car with 100 mph third gear. You cover secondary roads swiftly and always screaming. Maybe you should fix or improve the seats and drive even more. Why not ? Its a keeper. What tyres do you use ? Maybe a softer / different one could be a tad quieter. Make it a tiny tiny bit softer. These special 911s are really really appealing .. I would have mine in light blue metallic ! Thank you for the video and ride
I noticed as you went through second and third gear, pulling some RPM, that Jag in front of you did NOT hold you up. Loved the video. I'm from Northern New England, U.S. and have had the pleasure of driving the Cotswold's (and fortunately some other roads in England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Tuscany , Italy, etc.). But such beautiful driving roads in the Cotswold's, indeed. We've a few good roads here in the U.S. but I didn't miss a second of your video through the stunning countryside of Wales and England. I always enjoy your work. Cheers!
Congratulations on using your Porsche, for what it was designed to do! Like many other Porsche owners, mine spends far too much time, (just sitting there), not being driven. Very interesting, keep up the good work!
A GT3 without a wing, for which you will now have to pay almost a 50% premium and remember, it was a zero cost option on release. Nice car, but I will just get a manual GT3.
Cracking video. Can’t help feeling that if you plan to put 100,000 miles on it you may want to give your back some respite and replace those carbon buckets with some 18 ways. After all it is a Touring.
Think that's one of your best videos yet. You really get the sense of speed as you drive on those twisty roads. I didn't care much for that bronze coloured Porsche though with all the headlights! Our new video will be out later on today, and we give you lads a mention - it's only 20 minutes too, so please give it a watch ! Cheers, Al and Si.
Great video of Blackie (I own Greenie). Better induction sound than the winged version due to other airfilters. Personally I love the seats, but your 15 hours is a long drive. Cheers.
Great video Damien. The perfect car on perfect roads. Last year I took a friends GT3 for a drive through Pembrokeshire also with the fixed buckets. Great for a blast, but I can’t imagine doing 15 hours in them 😂 You have my upmost respect.
Another fantastic video, the superlatives are flowing again. Love the houndstooth seats and if the one I find doesn't have them, I'll be sure to ask for your contact. As for your car, I know I'm late to the party name-wise, I've not read all the suggestions, but Count Blackula would be my shout!....Keep up the good work.
What I think you need is red seatbelts (or perhaps just drivers side), then the red dials will fit the whole car better (edit - and / or a chronograph with a red band or accent)
10/10 great vid. As a footnote I was fortunate enough to go to the first festival of speed. The grandstands were pallets, stacked 3 high if i remember correctly. There were also about 200,000 less people there over the weekend. How times have changed.
Great video, thanks👍 I have driven my GT3 club sport 750 miles to the Alps in one! Padding is a bit thin on the Nomex covered seats😬😂 but very worth it when you get to the Col roads😎
Wonderful story, Damian ! In full reminiscence to your manly achievement, I will take out my GT3 Touring (now with 18,500 km on the clock), tomorrow morning, when the light comes out, and drive it through the mellow hills between Heidelberg and Frankfurt. Your story resonated totally with my feelings when in that great piece of car.
Love it! I love driving mine all day as well! Did 6,600+ km during my first three weeks of ownership during Euro Delivery, including 2 of my favorite tracks. Would love to bring it back to Europe and go to Brands Hatch one day soon!
@@TheCarGuysTV you are my favourite UA-camr channel. I am currently seeking to buy a new Porche. Want your suggestion on which has best driving experience. I don't care about performance that much. Your suggestion would mean a lot!!
'Lovely little tractor moment, there'... LOL. Made me laugh at that. Thought of my dad tootling along in his tractor and trailer. He would've called you yobs! ;- )
Love the watch and the hounds tooth seats......I really want the touring version but with regular seats as my daily😊 How about naming the car after Mickey Rourke😉
Amen to that
Thanks Damian, a perfect video to watch on a Friday afternoon. Hope you had a great time on the road trip, atleast you had the weather on your side, from what I can see anyway! Keep up the good work, it's always appreciated 👌
Glad you enjoyed it
Great way to start a weekend, I love my 991.2 GT3 best car ever and the touring is just a bit cooler. You got to keep this one forever.
That's the plan!
Fantastic - what a day! One of the things I love about this channel is you drive the cars and put miles on them rather than just walk around them telling us the stats. The GT3 Touring is not too flashy, fast, has a manual gearbox and sounds good. Great car for just getting out and driving.
Glad you enjoy it!
once again you've enabled us to enjoy this amazing car ! Thank you again
Loved the ‘road trip’ format....more please 😊
Thanks Damian ... it was a blast! Good to see u getting ready for the GTE season!
Love your Porsche 911 GT3 Touring, Damian. 👍🏻 Great vid. 👏🏻
Oliver Reed.
Truly a Green and Pleasant Land.
Damian gets his spanner out.......
Great content. Thanks.
GT3 - Christopher Lee. (It rhymes and he played a red-eyed Dracula)
The Dracula!
I'm liking that
Don''t forget he was also in The Howling 2: Stirba - Werewolf Bitch aka Your Sister Is A Werewolf
And a dentist
Now that's gotta stick........good shout
Brilliant video ....thanks for taking us along 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Solid car there Damian. I think she's a keeper. Thanks for sharing the adventure. Cheers
I must say the watch fits the car perfectly in this Video. - The GT3 Touring is so timeless you could still go to the event in 20 years and look good. - Cool Cars, great sounds, and entertaining to watch. Superb Video!
Cheers, Marc
Perhaps my favorite car in the collection. What a wonderful, albeit physically taxing experience. As battered and bruised as your body is, I know you would do it again in a heartbeat. The true essence of driving
In a heartbeat! Glad you enjoyed it
TheCarGuys.TV I didn’t enjoy it! I absolutely loved it!!! Glad to see you regain your love and admiration for the GT3 touring.
I did a two week road trip in my 997 custom GT2RS to Spain, Monaco and back through France. 2,500 miles. Same seats and Ohlins suspension.
Thank you so much Damian! This is what is all about!!!
That Brecon Drive was epic! We had a very early start too but it was worth it. Fortunately our GTS has the 18 way seats so the 338 miles we did that day wasn’t as painful!! Great to meet you too Damian.
Great to meet you too, Dave
Great video..really enjoyed it. Went to the Highlands last year on a Porsche run...you cant beat these group trips....enjoy.
Couldn't agree more!

A great honest video. The best channel out there.
Glad you think so!
The Car Guys and Harry's Garage....my two favourite car channels by miles.
You have great taste, sir
What a brilliant video Damian. Driving these cars is what it’s all about. Adventures and fun. (Just behave in Lyme Regis !)
Cheers, Martin
Thanks for taking us along. Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it

Glad you enjoyed it, Terry
Love those houndstooth seats and the Patek. You could call it the Red Hot Porker!
What a great day. Glad to see the car is being used for what it was made for. Love doing convoys/drives brings like minded people together to drive.
Couldn't agree more!
I bought my GT3 Touring 5 weeks after a total knee replacement and drove it 2000 k from Mornington peninsular in VIC to Queensland in Aust. The pain was worth it. Thanks, Mike - what a story you have there - great effort!
GT3: Bloody Mary
Consistently the best channel, content and Friday night entertainment! Thank you for your time and effort 😎👍🏻
Wow, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
It was nice to have come along with you Damian, albeit from my sumptuously comfortable sofa
My pleasure
Another great video, thank you; keep-up the good work.
Cheers, Will
Fan-bloody-tastic video! Love this car, I remember when you went and swapped your Carrera T for it, are you still annoyed with the non-leather interior or have you got over it now? 🤔
I've got over it now, esp once I re-trimmed the seats in houndstooth.
I did spy that, lovely touch, I love a bit of houndstooth 😉
Great video mate! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Hard and loud - I once drove from Yarm (north east UK) to Torquay (south west UK) in an Elise with a Larini exhaust - I still have damaged ears ;)
Very nice!
Nutter
I drove my sports bike to Scotland once ...never again
Rather get there with functioning legs and back
I used to do the exact same, S1 111S with larini, from Cumbria to Portsmouth 😬😂
Love the Welsh roads, fab, fab, fab 🏁👍
Brilliant episode Damian, what an epic day.... Given how amazing you (and we) think the GT3 Touring is then you could name it after a DC Comic character with red eyes called “Amazo”, feels pretty apt... although I did like “Christopher Lee” suggestions too....
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING TRIP. DEFINITELY BUCKET LIST!
Great show. Loved it. Again I say your show is the most enjoyable content on youtube by a country mile! GT3 Christopher Lee is good but Pete the Porsche has to be the one because Pete's eyes are that red!
Great to see the Touring being properly used. I doth my cap in your direction!
Muchos gracias
I see you 6007A!!! Looks good in that touring :) well done!
Thanks!!
My favorite Porsche! No nonsens car, pure driving! Very nice spec, just the red dials are not my cup of tea.
I thought that to start with, but I've grown used to the red dials now
Totally loved this. This is what it’s all about!
👍👍
Throughly enjoyed the GT3 and your commentary. Well done for surviving 15 hours!
👍👍👍
This has become a favorite video for me. I enjoy the roads and your talking to us as if we were in the car. More please!
Thanks, Dave
Well done mate! Love and share your passions for the gt3!

Much Welly givith! Though the buckets niggle me! You're living out the common man's dream!
👍👍👍
Those rolling and twisty roads looked superb. Put me in the mood to get out there and explore.
Do it!
Awesome video as always!! keep up the great work :)
Thanks! Will do!
That was one of your best, very well done
Thanks, Pete
Great video as always Damian love the fact you drive your cars. Always makes me sad to see cars with delivery miles what's the point. Thanks Ben

The A470 and B4560 are serious driving roads 👌🏻
Oh yes
Driving until your eyes bleed and your spine is fused together, that's commitment, thanks for sharing the experience, really enjoyed the content
You’re welcome
Amazing content Damian!! 🇧🇷
Cheers 👍
@@TheCarGuysTV thanks for answering.. big fan of the channel!! Cheers 👍🏼

Loved your footage from Wales following the Performante! Nice

Fantastic car and video. Glad I got the 18 way adjustable seats on mine.
Good choice!
Great video of Blackie (I own Greenie). Better induction sound than the winged version due to other airfilters.
Personally I love the seats, but your 15 hours is a long drive. Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed
Great video, great to see the car stretching it’s legs and on a road trip x 2 in a day!
Thanks, dude
So enjoyed this! Coming back to it now that I am waiting for a 992 GT3T
👍👍
The Touring has given you a hell of a beating, but what a way to go. Name it TYSON😉👍🏾
Great video Damien. The perfect car on perfect roads. Last year I took a friends GT3 for a drive through Pembrokeshire also with the fixed buckets. Great for a blast, but I can’t imagine doing 15 hours in them 😂 You have my upmost respect.

Epic road trip. Thanks mate

Thank you for doing this for your audience!
If you think that’s bad , try driving Melbourne to Adelaid in a Nissan navara 🤣🤣
Best road!

Thoroughly enjoyable, thank you. Lovely car. Pete Doherty struck a note, so just Pete I think, Pete the Porsche 😊
Sid Viscous... he always looked a bit blood shot ;)
Great video, thanks👍

What a day, what a car!
Glad to see you’re enjoying this masterpiece of engineering! Too many great cars are purchased as Investments 🙄...
Indeed

That's why my Carrera S is such a nice touring car. Relatively quiet (except for tire noise) unless you open it up. 18 way adjustable seats.
Love the real road trips...
Harry Metcalf would be proud!
Very good video 👍👍👍
Cheers, Mike
Excuse me for my bad English. Congratulations on your spectacular Porsche 911 GT3 Touring trip. A real driver machine at the style of Steve Mc Queen
👍👍
Great video, stunning car. Glad to see you use it and that you intend to hold onto it.Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Cheers 👍

Not bad
