The Red Square concert is one of the best without a doubt, but for me this version of the song is more emotional because of the ending: Linkin Park Waiting For The End Live at Carson Honda Civic Tour 2012. Anyway, those of us who like this song will enjoy any version.
I saw Linkin Park in 2004 in New Jersey with Korn as co-headliner on their Projeck Revolution tour. I was 13 at the time and it was the first concert I went to that I wanted to go to, as opposed to being brought along to something by parents. My old man drove us and went in with us even though he really wasn't into that type of music. He brought a CD player and headphones to listen to; I laughed at him and told him he wouldn't be able to hear it over the show but he brought it in anyway. Halfway through the first song of the first opener, I still remember the look he gave me as he slowly took off the headphones off and I asked him "Can't hear it can you?". 🤣 Old man died a few months later. I still have the t-shirt that he bought me from that show. It's faded as hell and I haven't worn it in a long ass time, but I'll always keep it. Good memories.
2004 Virginia project Revolutions over here 💜. I'm jealous you still have your shirt. I moved so much I lost mine. Linkin Park will always be my favorite.
I was lucky enough to see Linkin Park in 2007 in Adelaide, Australia, with Chris Cornell as their support act. To this day, one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen. Chester even played with a broken arm! Sadly, both singers are now gone 😔💔
My daughter was at that concert... I played them a lot and she asked who they were, then she loved them too. She was fifteen and I bought her 2 tickets for her and boyfriend to go to. I'm so glad I did, though I wish I'd gone too. It was her first concert and such a special one!
When I think of Chesters death I think of lp song leave out all the rest ! We should enjoy what he left instead of crying his death. He's a fkin angel voice telling a lot of things we never tried to put words on. Use it as an outlet.
Chester was a one-of-a-kind singer. The grit we hear in his voice I think encapsulates what he went through in his life. Definitely gone way too soon. 😔 Breaking The Habit is one of my absolute favourites.
Linkin Park was the group that helped me win over my demons when I was at my lowest, especially Breaking The Habit, it just resonated with me. Just really helped sometimes when I was feeling so low to get some air in my lungs and really just sing along to them. The lyrics "I dont know how I got this way, I'll never be alright, so I'm breaking the habit" just really hit home.
Chester Bennington was a casual-looking guy w/ an extraordinary voice... What a tragic loss 😪 This was an intimate show presented by AOL, filmed for online streaming event at Webster Hall (Grand Ballroom) in NYC in 2007.
I've seen Linkin Park perform live in 2003, 2010 and 2017. The third time (2017) was Chester's last ever live performance. Then 2 weeks later, we lost him.
Chester will always be in our hearts and he will continue to give strength and hope to many people. He was such an incredible musician, with one of the best voices ever. We love him, we miss him. R.I.P. Chester 😢❤
Chester Bennington was my music hero! I fell in love with his voice & what he brought into the music industry as an artist. The fact that you now pay attention to his lyrics & now understand more fully hits you in the feels more impactful
Two new offers from Diana Ankudinova in July. 1) Diana’s performance at the NIKA film awards, where Diana sang a song from the Quiet Outpost soundtrack. This performance is a requiem for the deceased famous people of cinema over the past couple of years. The video is on Diana's LIFE channel. 2) new release - a light summer song in English - Good Girl, lyric video, but almost like an MV.
This was F-ing perfect performance. Forgot how great they were live. At the start I thought oh interesting, changing the tune a bit, must be easier to sing that way, oh well. Then when went into the song properly it was pretty much album perfect, or at least close enough for my untrained ears to not tell the difference beyond some "it's live" leeway. I don't know about this performance but just reminded me of back in early 2000s when I was listening to a radio competition to win tickets to see Linkin Park doing like a surprise gig I think. Don't think it was expected anyway. Well there I am listening and I hear some guy winning the tickets and I jokingly said to my work mate "that sounded like my little brother"... 5 minutes later I get a call from my brother asking if I want to come see Linkin Park! That was a small gig setting very much like this one, roughly about the same amount of people. They were awesome then as well.
I never got to see them in concert, though I wish I had. This song is my favorite from Linkin Park, and its coinciding, haunting music video gives me chills every time I watch it.
Chesters passing hit me pretty hard. His voice with the rest of Linken Parks epicness has helped me since 2000. I never got to see them live but what I have seen from other posters lets me enjoy part of their greatness 😊
I'm always addicted to all of their all songs. My favourite was Papercut, Faint, Somewhere I Belong, In The End and Leave Out All The Rest. Of course there's more songs i know. RIP to Chester Bennington Btw, please do a react video to I Prevail - Everytime You Leave. Tq😁
