People say Giorno's stand is the weakest. I think it's one of the creative ones. Able to give life to anything just by touch is matter maipulation at a higher level. He is not only changing the matter's state but also giving it consciousness, ability to think and act on its own to follow Giorno's orders and high range to operate his tasks. It's kind of like alchemy but at a higher level so that it can give life to any object of his choice as well.

Life Punch only works when it's directly used against the Stand User, not the Stand. So Ciocolatta definitely experienced it and imagine 2 pages worth of Life Punch Barrage would definitely wreck you.

The stand most likely possessed the arrow or somehow it was incorporated into its being when it struck Polpo to create it (Considering Polpo's purpose was to recruit Passion members and in essence have them be stand users, Black Sabbath would naturally involve Diavolo's and Polpo's desires), like nobody reacts to the arrows appearance other than stand users so I am of latter opinion. Considering this, its ability in regards to fate would more or less be dictated by Polpo's will. So this arrow is abit gimped in its ability to create a Requiem Stand, and with Polpo's death the arrow was destroyed. It restraining and striking Giorno's Gold Experience would have probably been a death blow.

To make Requiem stand you need Requiem arrow. I think it has been mentioned somewhere in the manga about it.
