I just had a brother nq1700 delivered but not yet opened. and I also purchased embrilliance ensentials, a usb port will be delivered to me tomorrow. and then then I can start to play. Can't wait. You just put my mind at ease as I find this a bit overwhelming with all the different stabilizers etc. but I'm sure I'll get it and be on my way to creating in no time. Thanks again. On this example, it appears you are using a Windows computer. Are the steps all the same if you’re using a Mac? I have a Melco 16+, and am very green at using it 😂. I really appreciate how you share so much with others! Honestly, you could be an excellent teacher of the embroidery field! ❤️
HI Vertia. I use a MAC. I believe the screens between the Windows and the MAC might be the same.

Thank you so so much Jeanette as I am still new. This is the part I am stuck with hahaha. But watching your tutorials makes it a bit easier. Now I have purchased Minne Mouse alphabet and number applique. I have downloaded to my laptop but I am trying to import to embrilliance and its not really workop. What should I do? Can you make a video on how to import the number applique in Embrillian or something like that please.
Hi Visi. The Minnie Mouse Alphabet are individual PES files. So they don't import into Embrillance like a BX font file. You will need to select each letter individually to add to the design.
Once you have your design using the BX format do you save as a pes file to download to your machine to stitch? Which component of Embrilliance do you need to use the fonts?
Yes. Once you do save it as a PES.
Thank you for the information. I am new at Embrilliance and am using PES fonts. I found that I can enter a font and then select "merge" and add another font to the same file. However, I have so much to learn about the program. The saving issue, with the many ways to save, is giving me a bit of trouble. I need to do some more research on how and what I am saving the file to.

Great video! I am new to Embrillence and how been playing with bx fonts. I am having trouble when typing a word with an apostrophe and it isn't showing up on any of the fonts. Why is this happening?
Hi Michelle. Sometimes the fonts don't come with the symbols. Just the letters. You will need to purchase a set of the symbols and add them to your design.
I have a question I have embrilliams level 3 and I have try for weeks do this and nothing is there something that I have to do different I have watch this video many time and don’t work on my frustrating thanks great video

Your tutorials are soo helpful, however I did download from Stitchtoipia a font that I can't seem to drag from my file to Essential layout?? What am I doing wrong??
Hi Ruth, You need to ensure the fonts you are purchasing are in BX format.
Following your instructions in purchased the BX format successfully. I downloaded the ZIP file into my download file. Unfortunately here’s my problem: the ZIP file doesn’t open & because it won’t open it won’t load into Embrillance. To open Zip files all I normally have to do is highlight the Zip file an click Extract but nothing happens this time. I don’t have problems opening Zip files when I save them in PES. Do you have any idea how to resolve this problem?
When I double click on the zip files on my iMac it opens automatically.
Witch Embrilliance Essential is the best one to buy they had so many and different prices witch is the best in the lower price
I recommend starting with Embrillance Essentials.

Hi Katie. You can resize the font in Embrilliance. I do it all the time. Sometimes they sell the font sizes in a bundle.
Do you know of any sites that let you type a word & preview what it looks like in a certain font before purchasing?
Hi Dwight. Most site will have the a pdf or pic of what each letter will look like. Unfortunately not all words look great with concern fonts. I will be posting a video about this soon that will show you tricks I do to help with this. You don't have to use the same font for the word.
Does this work with only the free embrilliance? I bought the embrilliance software (I didn't know any better) but when I click the "A", that side window on the right doesn't come up....idk what to do
Hi Yahira. You need to turn on the view. Go under Views / Manage Views / Properties Views. Turn on all of them and this will fix you problem.
Where can I buy Spanish alphabets in bx format? I can't find the letters with accentuation marks( á, é, í, ó, ú ) or the letter ñ?

Hi Azucena, I purchase my fonts from Stitchtopia.com. Make sure you get the BX format so you can import the fonts to embrilliance.
A lot of my fonts that I’ve purchased are saying they can’t be saved because they could be a demo. They were working and I updated the embrillance express. Now lots of them are .be files. I don’t know how to fix this. I’ve bought them all. And can you download them more than once?? I’m so confused. Thank you for any help. I have the SE1900.
Hi Kingsolver. You will need the BX fonts to use with embrillance. You can use other formats but you will have to open up each letter at a time which can be very time consuming. .be format is a working file format. You should be able to open the file up and save it in PES or other embroidery format.
I have watched the tutorial. My PC went up and I had to have it fixed. When they downloaded everything, fixed and reloaded I have a completely new screen and having problems trying to figure out everything. I did buy a font from Stitchopia and when they told me to right click on the folder and extract, nothing happens??
Hi Ruth. I use a mac. When I download the files from Stitchtopia, I double click on the folder and it opens up.
All my embroidery files that I purchased are in the PES format. Does this mean I will need to change the format once I get embrillance software? Or is that possible? I am trying to understand all this so I don't make any mistakes later.
Embrilliance will allow you to open any embroidery file format. Brother machines only reads PES.

Great tutorial. What’s the difference between the BX and PES fonts I have an PES sewing machine and ordered all PES files. I, also, have Embrillance Essentiala would I have issue sewing my saved designs on the USB stick to sew. What would be the issues I would come across.
I have embrillance and all of my fonts purchased from Stitchtopia are purchased PES fonts but I download them into embrillance without issues. Once I download double click the arrows to transfer to embrillance. But there is an way to transfer without transferring each font separately. I learned watching several UA-cam video and I’m very new with machine embroidery this mask three months for me

The difference is the file format. You can import BX files. For PES files you will need to open each character one at a time.
Do you know how to get fonts into embrilliance that are all separate .pes files?
Hi Milena. You will need to open each letter file individually. I recommend purchase the BX format in the future. It's make things so much easier.

Yes. You can use all embroidery formats.

Hi Portia. BX files are the format that you can import into Embrilliance. Once you create the design you want in Embrillance you will then save the file in the PES format for the machine to read.

Hi Ty. You will need to open each letter of the PES format fonts in Embrilliance. In order to store fonts in Embrilliance you will need to purchase the BX format. After you are done creating your file in Embrilliance, you will then save it as a PES file onto a USB flash drive and install it on your machine.
For me the dragging method didn’t work. I had to double tap on the selection to get the message that’s it’s installed. Now that I pulled my hair out, I gotta find some glue to reattach it. Thank you😵💫

I just realized something with the pes files! You can add them all then delete the ones you don’t want.
Yes. But I would recommend keeping them somewhere. You never know if you could use them in the future.

Hi Sunshine. Yes. You can only import the BX fonts. But you can still use your PES fonts. You just have to open each letter one at a time. It's time consuming.

I am so lost and frustrated.
Don't give up! Remember to restart Embrilliance after you import the BX fonts so you can see your new fonts. Sometimes folks forget to do this.

Oh question? How do you know a font has a BX unless you search for BX fonts? Any other way to know?
When you purchase the font it should state in the description if they offer the BX version. Yes. I always just do a search for BX fonts.
