I got one of these and a used Martin 000-15sm the same week. Nothing prepared me for the Martin, I never knew a guitar could sound like that, honestly. It's bigger (and lighter), so I started looking for an Eastman or Pono 0 or 00, to replace this one...but it's grown on me. You show it off very well. It looks very much like the martin, a nicer finish, but it sounds totally different to my copy anyway. But this is a good guitar. Value? The Martin is the best value I've heard...I paid 1400 used...by a country mile. For HB price range....I'd consider a Alvarez MPA66...it's more, but I think you might get more than price difference.
@@BJJandBS very different guitars to compare. My sister plays a gs mini. It's a real nice guitar but for me year I like this parlor a lot more. Ive been playing it steady for several years now both daily at home and gigging several times a week and it just feels like home to me.
I actually just bought a Harley jazzmaster which I will be reviewing but other than that I have only owned the parlor here. I might do a follow up review to this one though because about a year later and this guitar has only gotten better with time!
I bet if you take a sliver off the bottom of your nut with sandpaper you would see a huge improvement in your intonation. In my experience Harley Benton plops brand new nuts on the neck and call it a day. That will never be the appropriate height, but a little common sense and you can fix that yourself.

to be expected with 000 compared to parlor guitars
The guitar sounds great
How are you liking this guitar? Better than a Taylor GS Mini?

A comparison with the CPL-15 with just the massive top?
