Beautiful singing by gajal samrat. Mousumi also played a different part of femail voice.its like a flowing of river water from one side to other side .sargam and singing both are preasenting golden period of gajal.

Beautiful singing by both, but no eye contact from her during singing with Jagjit Ji, which made it a little difficult for him to prompt. This is a duet and eye contact between singers is very important, especially when they have not sung together before. Kudos to Jagjit Ji for his patience and encouragement during the performance.
I am a die hard fan of Jagjit ji and DOSTON KEE MEHFIL has never been the same after his sudden demise. Moushumi ji's soulful voice and rendering is so hearfelt and matches Jagjit saheb's intensity.

I know this local talent ... she was too raw when she joined me but after a few years of singing with me she picked many songs of my repertoire, she mastered my style of singing. She used to be Mrs Mausumi Dutta ' nee Oberoi ! She makes me proud - happy to see her with Jagjit ji - Indraneel Mukherjee, New Delhi.
She should be appreciated for her talent and efforts. A guru usually takes pride in his/her disciple's success and not his own contributions.

I was very close to Anil Biswas and when I had figured in Lata award to him at Indore, Jagjit ji had come for the show and specially wanted to find out who is the male singer going to sing Maestro Anil Biswas compositions. In that Function I was most ably supported by Sanjeevni Bhelande from Mumbai the modern day Geeta Dutt! THUS VERY NICE TO HEAR .... SEENE MEIN SULAGTAY HAIN ARMAAN - A SONG COMPOSED BY ANIL BISWAS FOR TARANA STARRING DILIP KUMAR AND MADHUBALA !
