yeahhh, like bro, if the whole fun of the video is that they don't know what it is, don't nudge them towards it. the "keep a close eye on how the ball is affected there, is that normal?" at ~ 4:18 was it for me, it's way more fun if you let them figure it out on their own instead of spoiling it for them within the first 15% of the video

I think what he meant was more "the lag shouldn't cause anything different than it usually would to happen", ie. the calculations for the acceleration towards the middle was being done client side so there's no reason for the lag to change those calculations.

This has been one of the best concepts in awhile. The third game was the best, so many neat plays/strats with the weird gravity.
What if you invert the force every few seconds and add water to this? (like the time you submerged normal fields partially). You'd really make some waves then

I really like the idea of infiniball on this, just make sure you extend the force fields outside the map. Or, reverse this- force pushes out
Idea: Make a map with 2 balls, 1 normal one and the other is the center of gravity of the map that you can push around to give yourself an advantage.
If you would be able to max it out, you could literally play Sideswipe in Rocket League with this thing

I thought I clicked on a Rocket League video but going by those last couple of games this is clearly a quidditch match.
Telling them something is weird and then giving them hints in game one makes it less funny to me when they figure it out. The fun part is watching them get confused on what is going on

Have a pitching zone with those inward forces so people can do different pitches, then when the batter hits the ball, either disable those zones or make the rest of the field have no opposing forces. it could totally be baseball!

Make it so one person has a reverse magnet. Repulsing the ball away. Subtle at first, but eventually one person just can’t hit the ball or has to push the ball without touching it. Or affect everyone and that’s just how you play.
@Leth - Just saw your hilarious “Dodgeball is here!” video on Cowboy’s map and I think it's the funniest on your channel! Whenever you are revisiting old maps again, this gets my top vote. If you wanted to edit it first you could:
1. Move the jail cells closer, like you mentioned in that vid (or remove them & spectate automatically, but I think it would be a neat perspective if it were moved closer)
2. Make the dodgeballs reset ~8 seconds after being touched, to avoid them getting stuck on the other side
3. Add a small net worth 0 points that respawns the teammate who’s been dead the longest (for 3’s or 4’s)

I have a weird idea
slowly increase/decrease the speed of the game. Start with just a few percent to where it's only noticeable if you're looking for it, that way it hopefully really messes with people that aren't expecting it. That or maybe slightly change gravity or how hits bounce off the car. I think some subtle change to the physics that gradually gets stronger and stronger would be fun
Idea: Ball hitting the corner causes it to bounce off. Like Pinball.
Why: Most of my games the Ball always awkwardly stays in the corner.
(Alt) The walls bounce the ball off.
Cars should exert a repelling force. At first it slightly pushes it away, but the closer it gets to the car, the force should increase exponentially
I feel like low gravity would make it even funnier because it would increase the wave feeling 🌊🏄♂️

You should do a video of regular rocket league and prank them with effects after convincing them normal RL has been affected 😂
Rotate the effect 90 degrees, and find that sweet spot where it's just barely possible to score

I’ve got something for you, let me know if any of these are good.
Possible new rumble items:
- Gravity Flip: When used, the direction of gravity will change, causing everything (cars and the ball) to fall from the floor to the ceiling
- Bubble Gum: When used, it makes an opponent unable to move for 2 or 3 seconds (they can still use their power-up)
- Balloon: I can imagine two scenarios with this. 1: When used, the ball is placed inside a balloon and it starts floating towards the ceiling. (Could be popped with spikes power-up) 2: When used, an opponent will be placed inside a balloon and they start floating towards the ceiling (Could be popped with spikes power-up and the individual can still boost)
- Lightning: When used, it demos an opponent within 2 seconds (the individual can see the countdown)
- Boost Steal: When used, it steals one of the opponents boost and adds it to yours (100 max.)
- Air Roll Stuck, or Drift stuck: I think this one is self-explanatory.

Leth, you should make a map that DOESN'T have sides to go along with this. You would never need the sides anyway.
for the past handful of videos Leth's mic has had this occasional weird sound, almost like how earphones that were dropped in water would sound (example: "a cylinder" 11:06)
Do a completey normal 2v2 and watch the chaos as they try to figure out the catch the whole game when there really is none
You should make one where the ball has its own gravity and pulls all the players to it
This made me think how crazy it would be if the ball and all the cars were positive magnets. Everything just repelling each other.
Or what if the ceiling had the same gravity as the ground. So half way up you're pulled up

Map idea: have it so the ball is forced towards the closest goal (like this map, but towards the goal instead)
here's a mod idea, every time you make contact with the ball, you respawn
You should make a map where the ball goes through the floor and you have to keep it up. The last team to touch it would LOSE a point and you could start out with a certain amount of points. It would be fun to see y’all trying to keep the ball up and banging it into the other team players

What about a map like this one, but each corner has acceleration pointed towards the next corner in a clockwise direction around the field? It would make the field be like a whirlpool. The middle of the field could still be free of added acceleration.

Rocket League is a goofy ahh game, but we all love it. It’s a shame that Epic Games doesn’t even care about RL and the players, they just see money in everything. I still think that they would earn much more 💸 if they would put effort into making the game great again. They already took away so much from the game now, that people stopped playing it. Even if they don’t come up with new game modes (which by the way wouldn’t be that hard either, Leth showed them already that there’s so much potential in the game..), they should try to make things right. After that, people would be willing to pay and would continue to play.

Hey Leth maybe you could try creating a map with boost pads on the ceiling and you can drive on the ceiling. I actually thought about this idea since your video with the flying boost pads and thought this could be a fun map (hope that comment reaches you, love your content❤)
Is it just me, or is there a constant feedback from Leth's Mic these past few videos? I hear it everytime Leth finishes speaking in this video, and also heard it on the RTSSL #3. I hear it regardless of the audio peripheral, even on on speaker.
Oh and it's always on the Right side audio, not the Left. Same in RTSSL #3.
I think its a great ideia improving the map making community.
