M2W is a great service and I am a happy customer.
I have been doing reasonably well in direct equity but as the portfolio grows, it demanded a lot of research , conviction and patience. I realised that a professional manager can do it well. These professional managers are there to help society. They are like doctors.
But it takes a lot of time and effort to come out of biases. But it’s definitely worth it.

Well said sir🎉🎉🎉.but compared to 2008 now situation is completely different in 2024. At that time number of Dmat accounts were less than 50lakhs , now it is more than 15 crore and at that time the montly SIP amount is few hundred crores, now it is more than 20000 crores. My view is, there is a less probability to crash more than 15% ,provided same Amount of SIP continues to flow in market. Correct me if I am wrong .Thank you.

Even mf advisors are using volume and numbers as there key data to figure out best sip,as a common investor,we see history of eturns as one criteria to select the fund. If u could make a video on how to choose sip, that will be informative.

You are very true Shyam Sir, recent years lot of videos about SIP and they blindly say to do SIP in some funds.. many people seeing that thinks, SIP in all the funds will make some one Crore pathi all the time
Some saying do SIP in stocks that's even worse. How can anyone SIP in a stock when you have to buy only when valuation are right.
Also the rule I like is 1. Never loose Money
2. Never ever forget rule no 1 in investing. 😊
Buy on dips is called sip not randomly. If you want to buy 100 ways don’t buy on a single day instead gradually accumulate
Sip in stocks I mean to say
@viki19910 but SIP or buy on dips is also not a good investing. You need to know the value of the business and buy below the value. It's not the same as buy on dips. For example: if a company trading at 100x earnings and falls 10% doesn't mean you can buy the company since there is a dip. Unless the company goes below its fair value, even it falls 50% still it is expensive to buy.

SIP particularly in sector funds is very risky. If you can gauge the growth of the sector in 1,2 or 5 years the risk is worth taking. I made SIP in a pharma fund in 2011 because a number of patented drugs were going off patent in the US. There was an opportunity and we capitalized on that. That involves deep, day to day study of the sector. Otherwise, better to stay off.
Based on your advice and after watching somany of your team's weekend webinars, I made lots of changes in my Folio and also the method at which I was making investment in SIP earlier. I have kind of diversified across various funds and also increased my exposure now in multiasset, debt and bluechip. Thanks Guru

Hi sir, one option is there in all amc if u do the SIP... It is switch over progress. If sectorial fund not performing well pl do switch over to other fund like hybrid, flexi cap, large cap, etc

@viki19910 XIRR is valid on long run only... if you get this even after doing SIP for more than 5 yrs then you are great
My current xirr is 30 and doing sip for 2yrs. But it's inflated and expect it will gradually decline to 15% going forward. Still 15% xirr is good😊
