The Acme Thunderer

To celebrate Science and Engineering Week 2013 Aston Tower is doing a week on sound collaborating with Acme Whistle Company. Years 5 and 6 will be visiting the factory to see how the Thunderer is made.This video has been made for the other children in the school,

3:15- sounds like the employees are having a little too much fun, no? A whistle-blowing contest!!!! I also appreciate how these whistles still use REAL cork balls in the whistles and not a mere smooth rubber ball with flat spots (resulting in a crappy sound) as are found in the American Spirit whistles (which used to be good, and made in USA) from Walmart.
