So sad. This traditional dance is slowly dying... The ones that are taught in schools arent really accurate because it is more like that of maranao traditional dance. The original rythym of pangalay or kulintangan should be of slow pace and movements are subtle especially on "walking" because it represents the waves of the ocean. Though there are efforts on recognition of this traditional dance these days, I hope this will be taught in schools atleast in sulu archipelago.
