My favourite one is "read". Like in "I read a book" vs "I read a book". This used to confuse me so much when I was in school. In Spanish, Italian, German... usually there's only one possible pronuntiation to one set of characters... 😵

Hey Antonio, how 'bout another one for you. With bass, the bottom of a planter is a base or in music a low voiced person sings Basso. Another word is route. A delivery route or root. I still think you should be a model. I can think of you as say clothing model, maybe even a swim wear model. Seeing you in some poses would be really nice.

    Hi Tony,
The 1st time I sang WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS I pronounced wrong BOW. Although I knew it was one of those words (traitors!), I didn't make a proper checking.
But I could no longer go on with such a doubt, and after that I checked out on my Cambridge Dictionary, so I've been able afterwards to sing it the right way! 😁✌️
