Humility is not the same thing as thinking poorly of yourself, and true humility cannot be imposed on you by someone else. While the sin of false pride is obvious, the sin of false humility -- of denying the gifts God has give you -- is just as real. Forcing humility upon others runs the risk of denying them the place that God has for them in his plans.
