The way jump jets affect aim is wonky. Doesn't behave like cockpit shake, just goes off into the weeds. Once you let off the juice, the weapon alignment instantly snaps to the reticle.
Heat spike is stupid. If the heatsinks are blown away the heat they were sinking is dispersed all over the arena in the coolant that just got vaporised.
@@ghoulbuster1 this is laughable, most of the clan mechs can boat weapons that perform better in every way compared to IS counterparts and weigh less, DHS take 2 slots vs 3, XL engine allows to lose one torso, and the goddamn endo-steel and ferrofibrous on IS side take 14 slots each. An extremely small and meaningless disadvantage that can be easily counter with proper skill and heat management by the pilot is more than well deserved.
Stalker not shielding with his already dead side really hurt. It's kind of an unintuitive mechanic and I can understand why someone thinks its their center torso that will get hit next at full damage, but it's a very good thing to exploit.
I imagine that Piranha pilot in the 2nd match was overjoyed at the stupid heat spike! Also, I don't understand the heat spike. Yeah sure, you lost half your heat sinks, but you also lost half of the heat, yes?
You can play this with ECM at the cost of 2 LMGs (and half a ton of ammo) if you use the Prime Right Torso and the B Left Torso...it puts both the Beam lasers on the right side, but that just means better convergence.

The Mishipeshu was my first hero and used to be my most played mech, but I've been burned out by the traditional builds lately. Looks like meat is back on the menu, boys!
Your videos made me reinstall the game, having given up originally after a few hours play. After picking up a few pointers on the maps and maneuvering from your videos, I'm enjoying the game way more, and while I'm still a cadet, I'm actually getting pretty good at getting kills and supporting the team, and have a positive KDR and win rate now. (Up from .48kdr and 30% win rate) I'm no stranger to Mech Warrior games. But for some reason MWO just feels different from Mechwarrior 5 or the previous games.
I'm pretty new to this game i'm loving the videos I just wanted to check how did you do the scope zoom in really far towards the mech? as I haven't seen this before
as allways love your content. so i got 2 questions. 1: do you have any plans for a MW5 fully modded COOP campaign again? last one was so funny to watch would love for a new series. 2: now that I think about it i only had that one question, but saying you got more sounds better. and as allways keep the german mechgeneering comming (even though i do not play MWO i find your videos very funny and entertaining) -Specter out.
Jump Jets often have a weird effect on your aim, usually it just feels like shitty accuracy, but with a visible, continuously firing pinpoint weapon like the lasers, you can actually see what happens to your aim while using the JJs.

Agreed, wish they'd fix this already. Would prefer that over more new weapons personally

Heat spike happens when part of an xl is destroyed not heat sinks.

I gotta say it's gonna take a lot to get me outta the ERPPC build. The APG and plasma build hasn't done it; this might.
I can’t find a way to make the plasma cannons useful really at all. Low damage, long cooldown, too heavy….

I don't feel ECM is necessary on a fast build like this, it's nice to have though.

Love playing the cat, just the damage is low compared to bigger mechs, hence less pilot rating.
