- The Shadow Cat Mishipeshu used to be a less-used variant of the Shadow Cat chassis in Mechwarrior Online... until we got new tech like Beam Lasers! Two of these energy weapons combine perfectly with 6 Light Machine Guns for massive mid-range DPS! MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger #BattleTech universe. In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of a ""MechWarrior"" who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. There are currently seven game modes that involve protecting and attacking a single base (Assault), capturing and holding several points (Conquest), take and hold the center of the map (Domination), attacking a space defense system (Siege/Counter-Attack), protecting and attacking field bases with turrets and walls spread across the map (Incursion), and team death-match (Skirmish).

Heat spike is stupid. If the heatsinks are blown away the heat they were sinking is dispersed all over the arena in the coolant that just got vaporised.
Agreed, wish they'd fix this already. Would prefer that over more new weapons personally
Can't because CLAN mechs NEED to be SHIT or else the giga quirked IS mechs cannot compete.
@@ghoulbuster1 this is laughable, most of the clan mechs can boat weapons that perform better in every way compared to IS counterparts and weigh less, DHS take 2 slots vs 3, XL engine allows to lose one torso, and the goddamn endo-steel and ferrofibrous on IS side take 14 slots each. An extremely small and meaningless disadvantage that can be easily counter with proper skill and heat management by the pilot is more than well deserved.
Heat spike happens when part of an xl is destroyed not heat sinks.
@@mrxanthios7045 Better in paper, the only real advantage is range and only with mech without range quirks.

Most matches I play there's at least one asshole like that. They bitch and moan and try to dictate what the team does but never actually do what they are complaining about the team not doing or even help at all

Stalker not shielding with his already dead side really hurt. It's kind of an unintuitive mechanic and I can understand why someone thinks its their center torso that will get hit next at full damage, but it's a very good thing to exploit.
Jeesh, the Teddybears drilled that into me all those years ago.
You can play this with ECM at the cost of 2 LMGs (and half a ton of ammo) if you use the Prime Right Torso and the B Left Torso...it puts both the Beam lasers on the right side, but that just means better convergence.

I imagine that Piranha pilot in the 2nd match was overjoyed at the stupid heat spike! Also, I don't understand the heat spike. Yeah sure, you lost half your heat sinks, but you also lost half of the heat, yes?
Totally channeling fire + fast mech + covers are most effective against unpractical builds. Good thinking, sir.
3:44 is amazing
The Mishipeshu was my first hero and used to be my most played mech, but I've been burned out by the traditional builds lately. Looks like meat is back on the menu, boys!
I gotta say it's gonna take a lot to get me outta the ERPPC build. The APG and plasma build hasn't done it; this might.
I can’t find a way to make the plasma cannons useful really at all. Low damage, long cooldown, too heavy….

Very bad aimbot. Or jump jet aim shake. Your pick :)
The way jump jets affect aim is wonky. Doesn't behave like cockpit shake, just goes off into the weeds. Once you let off the juice, the weapon alignment instantly snaps to the reticle.

Weird: Copied into MechDB and get an invalid build code. Its probably a Probetkac thing though. (Problem between chair and Keyboard)

Jump Jets often have a weird effect on your aim, usually it just feels like shitty accuracy, but with a visible, continuously firing pinpoint weapon like the lasers, you can actually see what happens to your aim while using the JJs.
