    Been listening to this piece every night for almost 2 years to help myself and infant, now toddler, sleep. She requests it and knows if it isnt this piece. She'll be 3 in April. She knows which one it is on UA-cam to pick. Thank you for helping me get the small amount of sleep I have been able to. I don't sleep well and the 3 hours this plays I'm out and the journey as I fall asleep is beautiful.

      Montana cellist , what does it mean the cello is tuned to 432 Hz? is that instead of the usual 440? I don't know much about cellos and tuning, only guitar and piano to some extent. I know that every note has a different frequency and I've heard of solfeggio mediations and specific frequencies for emotional rebalancing, but never fully understood how that's supposed to work. would you please explain? thanks in advance

    • @Montanacellist
      @Montanacellist  7 років тому +11

      The A (open string) is tuned to 432 hz. Everything else is tuned relative to that.

    • @Messiah36963
      @Messiah36963 7 років тому +8

      Neli Prota ,1939 open A tuning was changed from 432htz to 440htz....
      432 resonates with the body. 440 does not.

Found this music tonight and believe the angels must be helping me. Can't sit still to meditate, yoga hurts, but I definitely love music - so this sounds like my solution. Thanks so much for posting. Art and music, combined with counseling and a bit of medication, and I just might survive the ups and downs of being bipolar. -✌️❤️Nancy

      @@justrelax3743 you sound great. my mother had bipolar and manic depression and with all the meds she was on she'd still come after you and attack. Even though I was her primary caretaker ( no one else would do it) and she had Cancer, nothing could stop her when she felt the need to attack. My advisors forbade me to move back in with her and she died on the floor, in my bedroom, alone. This music I believe would've helped her.

      @Sum yi Wong Hey, I'm not a cellist but a pianist (I'm 20 years old). The only advice that I can give you is to not think about the people that are watching but to try to enjoy your playing and to become one with the song. Don't think if you will make a mistake or not, because if you do it's more highly that you will make one. Try to enjoy the beauty of the song that you are playing.
      Wish you all the best ❤️

    • @mailesiefert2655
      @mailesiefert2655 4 роки тому +5

      Sum yi Wong hi! I’ve played violin for the past 9 years and a few years ago I began playing cello (I mostly play the cello now). Concerts can be a nerve wracking as you make them out to be, but that also means they can be as stress free as you want too. For the last 2-3 years I’ve started walking into concerts as if I’m in a normal class/practice and that helps a lot for me. Instead of focusing on the audience or being on stage, just keep your eyes on your music, (if in a group ensemble) your section/section leader, and the conductor. Everything else is irrelevant. Also, how often do you get to play the piece all the way though in practice? Usually not often because we work on the tricky parts, so take advantage of the fact that you get to hear the full song all together! Another way to keep your mind off the performing/concert itself. Hope these tips help, good luck and keep on practicing that cello!

I am not sure why some people would come on this video looking for exciting variations when you intended for subtle beautiful variations. Don't let them get to you and keep playing beautifully. It's really smart and you focus your talents to play to target audiences.

      Brittany C : It is not a disorder beautiful one. Your mind is filled with Empathy and Compassion. The controllers of this plane knew who you were and knew your mother as well. They didn't want your kindness and Empathic thoughts around their ears this time. You're so full of light and love. I can feel it over here my friend. They've done the same things to many of us. It's in the water we drink, and the foods we eat. I know you have a good diet, but they control that too. I was given a cure to the thoughts and sounds. It was 40 days of non-clover honey and mothers milk (vegan mother). It cleaned my blood, which healed my cerebrum fluid and then my dormant DNA was activated, which then quieted the vibrations all around me. Now, the waves are like straight lines, and my smile is back. H.O.P.E. is still here! Much love!
