Always adore your content, Anja. Each video is like opening a little treasure box. So glad you are well and thanks for sharing this yummy adventure. Aloha 🌺
Why any German would live in the USA always astounds me!!! 😊 Germany is a great country! One of my best years in my existence was spent there! I love how deep and thoughtful and punctual and organized Germans are!
Thank you for sharing some of your trip with us. It is so wonderful to visit other countries and to go on such lovely outings! I would enjoy the pattern for the scarf!
I always enjoy your visits to Germany. Thank you for sharing them with us. I was admiring your scarf when you mentioned a pattern. If you could share it that would be wonderful.
Viel Spass!!
Really enjoyed this video. I've been to Berlin, but didn't get enough time to enjoy the neighborhoods or markets. Yes, I would love to have the instructions for knitting the scarf. Your pink shirt looks great on you and I would love that as well.
Danke’. Oh how i miss Germany !!! Hope to get back there someday soon and visit my family in Menningen as well as my late husband’s family in Diebach Ansbach Bavaria
For me we make the oil based potatoe salad. Im from Hanau and my mother was from Gimbsheim. However my mother made both oil and mayo based when she lived in the US. I like both but if I could only have one Id perfer a good oil based potatoe salad.
Oh how I miss German breads along with having kaffe und kuchen!! How are you able to grow black currents in the US? I've read that they're banned for some reason.
Thank you Anja and what about the tap water in Berlin ist really pure and safe to drink or it contains heavy metals and microplastic and other chemicals ?
"Berliners take good care of their neighborhood" - sorry, that one had me end up laughing! Sure that's why everything in Berlin is broken and smells like shit. Of course that does not actually count for the suburbs - especially Wannsee, Wannsee is a different Berlin. Und ick darf dit sajen, ick bin hier jeborn. PS: Love your videos! 💖
Jesus, half a kilo of red Johannesberries for 6 euros and black Johannesberries for 8 euros. 16 euros!! They didn't dare to put up this pricetag. You need the GDP/income of Berlin to afford that. I saw some mass produced one this year for 3 euros. Blacks have the most bang for the buck. It's one of the most concentrated fruit, but a bit of a pain to pick and separate from stems. When they are ripe, they separate from the stems the easiest. You can place a basket under the bush. But some get crushed in hands, and they wouldn't bring those to the market. Then sort the leaves and bugs on the counter. Whites can have more berries per bunch, and taking them whole is the easiest. But blacks my have only a few berries. Nice round jar. I have these from liver paste, lol. Full of jam again. The guy from History Deserves to be Remembered told that they eradicated Black Currants in America with extreme prejudice to protect farmed forests from disease.
I miss HL Market. I used to buy currents and gooseberries all the time. Sometimes they didn't make it home. Yum. Can't find them in the states.😊
Loved seeing the farmers market and the beautiful buildings.
Nice! Thank you so much for watching 😊 ~ Anja
Oh, how awesome. Danke! Thank you!

Those prices are outrageous! 6€ for 500g of red currant? And 8€ for black currant? I can't....
Love your wide-toebox shoes! I'm always looking for comfy shoes. Where are they from?
They are Softstar, super comfy and soft
@@OurGabledHome Will check them out! 😊
