Nicole is a veteran stage performer, the reviewer is belittling her experience. She's sung solo at the King's coronation. Don't write her off as simply "exploring", as if she's an amateur. Get your facts right before you try to review a mega talent. She trained first as an opera singer.
….. like did he not see her in Phanthom of the Opera?! Andrew had Nicole in so many things ☹️
Agree ! I was sceptical having seen Elaine & Glenn in the over the top versions, but i FCKN LOVED IT !!
I went to see this and it was magnificent. The steady cams, the black and white screen, the scenes outside the theatre..... Just loved it and I too saw the Glenn Close version. Bravo to the whole show.
I cannot wait to see this on Broadway!
Nicole is a phenom. A true TRIPLE THREAT if there was one. EXCELLENT.
I have no word for Nicole's brilliance. She is 150% into the character. Jamie's production is wonderfully contemporary. Love it ❤❤
Patti lupone was 46 when she opened the musical
Nicole is amazing, I would love to see her in movies too 🎥
Yeah, something with an adult theme.
She is a true TRIPLE THREAT. Pussycat Dolls move over!!!!
@@jamesdean1143A dominatrix role.
Would love to see it! Nicole is an amazing talent
I like to click on at least one video each day that I couldn't give a ratsass about.
It’s incredible, she is incredible.. Go see, moving innovative, I’d go again and again ❤
Ok but who cares?? Lol. Why are y’all worried about these small things?
lol 😂
First, she's not right for the role. Second, a "stripped down" version of any show with minimal to no set, costumes, or orchestra always screams "we have NO budget for this show" and yet, they try to sell it as "cool" and "avant-garde". LOL
Lol??? U lost, she Won Olivier! And they won multiple awards that night. Where u at?? 😢
Not right for the role, right? Hahaha..
Swanson was 51 when she made Sunset Boulevard.
Sherzinger is 45.
And?
Yes. And?
@@RajaMCool And they suggested she is too old or too young. I am saying Nicole and Gloria are /were similar ages.
@@stephfoxwell4620 Scherzinger is perfect for this role. Plus, she has an amazing voice. It’s way better than that of Adele, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, and Ariana Grande. She never got the recognition that she deserved.
Nicole is fantastic
No chandelier, spiral staircase, car chase, crumbling mansion…?? Having been mesmerised by Patti LuPone’s performance on the backdrop of the grand stage sets at the Adelphi in 1993, I can’t imagine how such a scaled back (cheap?) production could match that. Emperor’s new clothes much?
Exactly. Don't you love how they always try to sell "stripped down" shows with virtually no set, costumes, and orchestra as "cool" and "avant-garde", when what it really screams is, "We have NO budget for this show"? LOL Scherzinger is totally wrong for the role in any case. Hard pass.
I just love how y'all are so vehemently against the revival having seen it 0 times. That's how we're discussing art now?
@@naastyaaaaaaaaa Yes.
@@naastyaaaaaaaaa In any production, I support honoring the creators' original vision and intention for their work. As such, I would no more support a "new" Sci-Fi production of Les Miserables that takes place on Mars than I would this production of Sunset Boulevard. There is a big difference between reviving a show and rewriting a show; the latter is clearly what this "new" production is which does not honor the original creators or source material.
@@L1623VP ALW composed the score, right? After the recent Olivier, where the new SB took home several awards - including for best revival, best actress and best actor in a musical - Lloyd Webber made a statement saying how proud he was of the director and the new production. So I say the original creators are fine with it.
I hate plastic chairs. Its LAZY
And cheap! Who wants to pay $100 a ticket for no set, no costumes, and no orchestra for what looks to be a woke production that takes all the character out of the show? One of the things Billy Wilder, the original writer of the screenplay of Sunset Boulevard, said he loved about the original stage production was that the creative didn't alter the show hardly at all from his own script. Clearly, that's not the case with this new "reimagined" version.
Who?
A part Filipino, part Hawaiian, part Ukrainian lady who was raised by a German American.
Former lead of Pussycat Dolls group. America's Got Talent/Britain's Got Talent, X Factor judge.
No worries not related to your family for sure🫡😉
@@stephfoxwell4620 what a weird way to describe her. I don't even like her and I can do better. She's a former pop singer turned celebrity judge on talent shows turned legit theatre superstar.
@@Chibbykins People get their culture and identity from their ethnicity ,not their dayjob.
4:15 yeah the timing is extraordinary because of what Israel is doing with Palestine. 🇵🇸
She is a narcissist.
None of her former bandmates could stand having to work with her.
@richardscalels
And you think her "bandmates" were all shrinking violets? 😂 you are very naive, aren't you. 🤔
@@nightowl7459 I know that they lived in her shadow, and they were expected to stay there.
@@RictaScale.Official That the same with many groups or bands? There's always someone getting the attention and it's usually the main vocalist, nothing new.
@@nightowl7459He needs to loosen up his buttons ❤
Agree 💯 percent. This talentless narcissist gets thru life having Thom(her personal photographer) take her instanta bikini pics whilst yet again on vacation. Nobody loves her as much as she loves her little self.
i dont get it; to my ear she cannot sing the part at all
