Nice and Creative Videos, This is really my favorite channle.:). I really glad to see your post and your world was so brilliant. 🌴🌴🌴 excellent and Much appreciated!!🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 from: San Leandro City Alameda
Born and raised in Alameda and have lived there 19 years now. Completely agree with all of these reasons. Few months till I'm back home for the first time in almost a year. Great video!
I lived in Alameda many years ago .. Wonderful place to live ! Hope to move back someday .. it has a special ambiance ❤️ Thank you for sharing brought back great memories!!
Philip - Great video I am a total beach lover and great to see yours near San Fransisco - looking forward to being there in Oct / Nov for NAR conference.
I was home ported there when I checked on board the USS Enterprise in October 1987 until we left permanently in September 1989. It was such a nice home port, I really missed it.
was born there on Clinton Ave Hospital in 1939 wnet to all Alameda Schools from Edison to Alameda High. Lived all my young lie at 1628 Broadway in a 2 bedroom one bath house that my Mom bought back in the 1930's for $8,500.00, now worth close to $1,300,000.00, crazy, yes it is. Over priced, Oh yes. The only way you can live there is with wheelbarrows full of cash. Alameda has no job market to live and work there, unless you inherit the home or everybody has to work two jobs to pay the mortgage, taxes and insurance. I was born at the right time growing up in Alameda. My whole family was there from grand parents , uncles and aunts and cousins near by, lived through the second world war too, all my family came back, lucky indeed. My family were merchant Marines and sailed the Pacific out of San Francisco. Loved the homes in Alameda, great style form old to knew ( to me ) south shore apartments and homes.
The only reason Alameda has anything going for it was Ann Randall called it home when she was young. If you don't know her look her up. Saw her in 1967 for the first time and never forgot her.😊
@@KAAKEproperties You will find her a visual delight but a much nicer Bay Area story how she met her husband. She currently lives in a Dell Webb community in Arizona.
Hi Prathna, thank you for your comment, I can tell you that Alameda is a very safe city here in the Bay Area. As for the cost of living I think that could vary greatly so it would be difficult to do a whole video on that topic.

Thank you for the comment and the history of your family in Alameda James. Always interesting to hear about peoples stories here from our Island City.
