As one who is mostly bedridden and disabled, I really appreciate your words that anywhere can be a temple. I have learned that yes, the Lord is near when we suffer affliction and turn to Him in trust and faith. I miss going to the temple, but I'm grateful that God knows me, loves me and has not forsaken me.
This was something I never thought I would see. To bring to light these moments of time and history in our beloved prophets life helps us to understand a small bit of his harrowing life. Praise to the man who communed with Jehovah. Thank you very much
I would like to tell you the experience of my first visit to Liberty Jail. It was sometime in the 1950's. Only the dungeon was left and above the dungeon was a home where our tour guides lived. A husband and wife. They let us go into the dungeon and my father who is about 6 feet tall could not stand up straight. I remember he had to bend over a bit. Ale calls it a myth that has been passed down, but because of our expereince, i'm not so sure it is not true. It was a horrible place for sure. Very dark and cold even in summer. But the spirit was storng and I could feel it even as a young child. Thank you. This was fascinating.
Wonderful video! It really brings church history to life and helps us better understand what it was like for those saints. They had to have had the strength of the Holy Spirit to survive all they went through and stay faithful to this gospel. Thank you for doing this!
Absolutely amazing and very emotional. This brings history to life and makes it very real. Thanks to everyone for using their talents in such a positive way.
Wow! Thank you ! It gives us a better idea of what it was like. It is nice to know that they were not in the lower part of the prison, the whole time and that they had a little bit of heat during the day. It is a miracle that none of them die because of exposure.
Great documentation to the 3D recreation. I’m not sure why it took so long to create the 3D representation with all of the information you had. This would have been a rewatding project to be a part of.
If you go, there's not much to see, but the Jesse James Bank Museum (suffered the first daylight bank robbery) is really close, as well as Kansas City and all its attractions. Independence is very close and has many LDS historic sites to see/visit.
After this experiment of suffering, he & others will have mercy upon those they will teach in spirit prison, after his martyrdom in Carthage jail, also known as the upper room. God is refining his rightious through these experiences & suffering, like Jesus & his apostles went through, as the just
Comment below with your stories, experiences, and thoughts of how you have made your proverbial "Liberty Jail's" into "Temple-like" experiences...

I hope you still have your lazy lap cats to snuggle with
I have one on me while I type this comment. Wish you get better.
Very good work, thank you! We are fortunate in the KC temple district to be relatively close to these historic sites. They are special places.

Thank You for bringing more light to what they endured. But it breaks my heart to think of the time he and others spent in such a place. Thank You
It touches me. Thank you for your dedicated work.

Thank you so much for sharing, and for all your work!❤🇨🇦
Using this as a teaching tool for my curious primary class, consider it shared to the parents to help their understanding. They are 6 and 7 years old.
Thanks very much for this, having the 3D model allows us to experience additional things that are absent in the physical exhibit.
I stopped there back in May but they was still closed. Opening in a couple of weeks. I was so 😥 So thanks so much for the tour.

This is so amazing project!!! We had the real life situation of Liberty Jail from the expert. Thank you....
This video is so cool! I just LOVE the 3D model! It made everything so much more clear and engaging!
Brother Griffith's video-voice is way different than his teaching-voice haha
Extremely grateful for this.

I love the Prophet and want to see this! I am RLDS at the moment. This is my heritage
