    perfect job except the brake rotor should have been cleaned of grease an oil prior to installing the brake pads. nice job and video

    Great video, I’m proud of you that everything got torqued with a torque wrench except the lug nuts, hope you just didn’t show it, lug nuts are as important as the the brake bolts, also I’d clean up the brakes and re-lubricate them but either way good job thanks

      😂😂😂 never in my life I've used torque wrench for nothing on my cars, and it's was totally fine all these years.

    Would have spun the new assembly round a couple of times before refitting the wheel. You might have done this but it was not shown on the clip.
    Also, you sure about the torque on the shaft nut...?
    It does seem overly tight ......

      Just do it TIGHT it can never hurt. Ive never crushed a bearing brace ever using a bar. Just be sensible when applying pressure.Like remembering roughly how tight it was or count the turns by making a mark.

    11:41 What if the circlips don't have holes on the end points for gripping?

  • @TN-bm6dh

    Why did you put the bearing ih the freezer?

    • @TheGibby3340
      @TheGibby3340 5 років тому +1

      The OD of the bearing will contract just a fraction by freezing it. Easing installation within the bore of the knuckle.

      It's a generic tool set sold under many brand names. You should have no problem finding one in India.

    LESSON NO.1 USE a mans jack! Get car higher then in this video. Then you can tighten or loosen with out having to return the rachet or spanner. just go round like a clock hand.

    • @shatterthemirror8563
      @shatterthemirror8563 4 роки тому

      If that mattered, why wouldn't he just use a short wrench after the bolt was loosened?

  • @bowserpenny8428

    you don't grease a press in bearing

    • @JimBob_1975
      @JimBob_1975 5 років тому +2

      He's not greasing the bearing. He's greasing the surface that the bearing shell slides into to make the task slightly easier.

  • @jamesmitchell9470

    A 9:25 you are install one of the clips. If you do that. Then how is the bearing able to go in

    • @JUANITO5338
      @JUANITO5338 3 роки тому

      He's installing the rear/inside bearing C Clip.... Bearing stops at that clip and you know when u can't push bearing any further. It sort of can be used as a stopper also other than what its for safety

    Hmmmm.....Do you really have a air compressor and air tools with you in the car at all times? "On site" is a bit off, isn't it?
    Most people don't have any of these tools at hand, and have to go to a garage to get this done. Useful video, but only if you have the tools!

    lol at that point you are 3 bolts away from removing the hub, and do it by pressing much easier and faster and can do it inside
