We need more people like OrionK man, was an absolute beginner and dominated the lobby and started playing the game more even after the EXPO ended. Sometimes even interacts in the twitch chat now, I love the guy so much.

This has got to be one of the if not the best thing ed has driven osu to be other than the lan tournament. Also crazy to see someone to get introduced to the game by competing on a lan event, What a Chad.

this is just so dope man. i remember wanting to find people to play with in person, but there was never anyone who knew of the game. all the friends i would show wouldn't give it a chance, or if they did, they'd drop it soon after. it just wasn't known, and there was a lot more scorn towards anime/anime adjacent content back then. in 2013 i remember trying to show off cookiezi's big black play at a pc gaming cafe to try and convince the person working to let me download it on the computer, to hopefully drag some people in, but i was laughed at and told no(which is kind of fair it's a little embarassing). events, meetups, huge production stuff, incredible tournaments, and so much community effort has made osu so much more mainstream and approachable, none of which i thought would ever happen. it's so much easier to find people to share the game with, and many more are willing to give the game a chance than ever. friends, classmates, whatever, with how popular it is now, there's surely someone who at least knows the game. if i could go back with osu in the stage it's in, it wouldn't have been such a lonely game.
Ed being the leading ambassador for the game that we all love. Absolutely loved watching how much the game has grown now.

I´ve been playing Osu since 2015 and have always been engaged with the community, i grew up with osu and it makes a big part of me, to see you being so dedicated at this point makes me really happy, thanks for your effort Ed.

i really wanted to go but im not from the US. luckily my friend had the opportunity to attend the convention and even took a selfie with you! despite not able to join the convention, im very happy i get to see my friend enjoy himself and even take a selfie with one of my favorite players, kinda jealous but still im very happy lol. needless to say, thank you so much bmc for the effort that you put in to these events love you dude❤

About a year ago i never played a shooter game on pc and i played osu once and my aim was fricking insane soooooo idk if i was just lucky or i think it does actually help your aim in some way
