    Nice review. I usually wear down my bag gloves after a year so I tend to buy cheaper bag gloves. These are quite expensive but they look great. Nice details. I'll go with the Adidas Hybrid 200 for bag training. Is there any particular reason why you don't review Lonsdale? They have an interesting line of boots coming soon in 2017.

    • @Emaratilfy
      @Emaratilfy 7 років тому

      Fit2Box Channel Thanks for the reply mate. I agree, Lonsdale's gloves seem a little flimsy compared to other manufacturers in the same price range. I have one other question: My Adidas Box Rival II boots just died. Unfortunately they're not made any more. If you had to chose between the Reeboks or the Adidas Box Hog II (the blue ones you reviewed), which one would you pick? Thanks for a great channel. There aren't many boxing gear channels out there on YT.

    What size of glove would you recommend in conjunction with wraps and the Winning gel pad? I have average to slightly below average hand size ( 8 inches measured just below the knuckles). Rival's size chart says to use a large (12oz), but I am worried with the gel pads, they might be a little tight.

    I’m 5’8”, 150lbs. I want to get these but their confusing choice in sizing is keeping me from making the buy. I don’t want to end up having them not fit my wrist or something. They should’ve just kept them in ounce sizing. According to their size chart, I’d be in a 10oz glove. I normally hit with strictly 14oz. I think I’m just going to go with hayabysa T3’s.

    looking to upgrade from the protex 3s had em for about a year now! looking for a nice set of bag gloves do you still rate these as one of the best bag gloves and rival gloves in general?? looking forward to seeing the king of the Velcros not sure if i can splash £300 on them though FLY cant come out of nowhere and take the title of the undisputed Kings! ! theres couple 2nd hand on winning velcros on ebay at the momment for £200 but bit of grey area for 2nd hand gloves and fakes i guess, any more good suggestions for bag/sparring gloves? i tried a pair of "fighting" gloves a mate had at the gym, they instantly felt much nicer lighter faster and durable compared to the protex3s but they are just a big glove anyway compared to any other 16s but that kind of gives u an edge when you do go down to a smaller glove

    • @Fit2Box

      BOWTZ PROS still love these gloves great bag glove , also really like the RB5 that Anthony Joshua has been using in his bag and mitt work (check out my review) I haven’t scored the FLY v Winning title match but it’s a close call , I used them in sparring the other day and they were class👊🏼👍🏼

      @@Fit2Box Yo! i might just renew the protex 3s again! lol, i just measured my hand circumference and its tight just under 10inches, i know you said they are a tight fit also anD with wraps im worried! i cant find any local stores to try em on! the size chart, XL BAG GLOVES ARE 14oz 185 lbs & over 8.5" - 9.5 XL 14 oz, Also the Loma Edition Rb5 are only in Large/Medium so maybe they have excusive sizing? instagram.com/p/BqrweJdF8DD/ look at usyk here witht the rb5s on! absolute savage! spoke to Ryan barret retired champ and owner of gum shield in Eltham! even though they dont stock them anymore, he know russ and was a massive advocate of rival gloves and recommended them!
      so im caught between getting a set of rb5 / reg / loma and a fresh pair of protexs 3s! or just get a sick pair of rb10s! but they are only 14 oz at xl hmmmmmmmm #teamfury wtf are these judges up too!

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  5 років тому

      BOWTZ PROS it sounds like a fresh pair of protex3 plus a pair of XL RB5
      You can get XL RB5 in red or black
      Not sure why they don’t to the XL in loma colours
      Yes I had fury -wilder
      115-111

    I've had the exact gloves, but they were so big. The wrist was too loose so I couldn't never wear them . They should have the gloves in oz's instead of sizes. They costed me a lot of money to ship it to Australia, they took to long to arrive and it was just a waste of money. I gave the gloves to a mate, hope he's making a good use of those gloves. Very hard to match the sizes of those gloves!

    Hello! I recently asked a question on your 2018 Cleto Reyes vs Winning video and you referred me as a beginner to boxing to the pair in this video rather than the Reyes or Winnings. I had a question if you get a chance to answer that would be awesome but no biggie if you cant.
    I saw these at about £150 which is just about the same as the Reyes extra padded even on Reyes official website. I'm seeing that you seem to be recommending Reyes for people with larger hands, and as I have larger hands (Im about your height at 6' 3"), would you still recommend the Reyes extra padded instead of the RB10's for exclusive Bagwork/Mitt work for a newbie?
    I am more than willing to drop the money even on winnings as I want to buy something that will last a long time so for me it is not as much the money and more if the gloves would work for beginners.
    Thank you very much!

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  4 роки тому

      Reyes tend to have bigger hand compartment than these Reyes so if you have got larger hands then Reyes would be better than the Rb10
      In saying that if money is not a problem then I do rate winning above Reyes

    What would you suggest to protect your knuckles for bag work more? These or the title gel world bag gloves?
    The main thing I'm after is very good knuckle protection.
    I used to use 18oz gloves for the bag as my knuckles bruise and swell, they where only cheap Lonsdale ones and are on their way out so I'm after some new gloves that will last.
