That’s not even mentioning the signing bonus difference either which the Yanks offered 60 mil while the Mets offered 75 mil. I love seeing all the stuff coming out how it was more about Cohen giving his family options of box seats and security for the games. Also, my father in law is a die hard yankee fan and I kept telling him before even Soto signed, Yankees needed to change their "yankee way". The clean shaven no nonsense club house vibe is dead, the times have changed and you need a fun clubhouse and team chemistry. All year i'd watch yankee's games and it looked very stale in their dugout and even the playoffs on huge moments the fans looked more excited over the players. If the Yankees don't evolve their brand it will fade very quickly soon, there is a lot more teams to root for in this league that is growing. LFGM
