Coconut oil and castor oil are protein oils. Excessive protein will dry the hair and cause breakage. Periodic use is fine but daily usage is not good for 4c type hair (as this hair type is normally dry and brittle; it needs lots of moisture).

I couldn't get the name of the round product, and oil product...you use actual aloe plant how much gel used to put in spray bottle. Thank you for expressing what us girly-girl really gobthru with dry hair.

I won't use coconut oil in my hair,except it has an added fragrance. The hair smells rancid quickly with it. It's perfect for skin though. I use it as a moisturizer, and at nights before bed.

That’s the problem. Cantu can be kind of drying so you more than likely won’t get the same results. I used moisturizing products that I know my hair loves and responds well to. Http://bit.ly/JAhaircare
I use Neem oil coconut oil castor oil and olive oil in my hair I cut off my hair in November last year so I think going natural is ok but I do my own oil I don't buy

Castor oil is NOT a protein oil!!!!
This also depends on the porosity of your hair. Some people need more protein than others.
