The Laurel and Hardy fretboard is not acceptable on a guitar at this price point.. The original 59s and current gibsons have rosewood.. They did use ebony on the 2024 epiphone customs and 355 so why not rosewood on this? People may say that they are happy with Indian Laurel but at the end of the day it is a budget wood that need frequent lemon oil treatments. In the future we will see them return to rosewood on the premium models.
No they don't . I have several sets of both and they sound nothing alike. Very different pickups in every way .. The tone here is terrible. I have never heard a BB Pro or Custombucker sound like this .
The sound is very similar to Gibson. Is this weight very heavy?
Yes, the only difference with the real gibson1959 version is the lightening of the wood, and the EPI neck, which is better, is molded as one piece.

7.9 is way too light for a Les Paul unless it is a chambered body.
