The 20 ml travel size toothpaste that I used in the demonstration, is only good for 5 days of travel based on brushing twice per day. Therefore, this size is suitable for short trips less than 5 days with your carry a carry-on luggage only. If you are traveling with a check bag for short or extended trips then no problem, the family size is the way to go because you can check it. There is also a 70 ml travel size that meets the TSA carry-on requirements.

I never thought of that but, that’s a viable option. Thank you for sharing. I be will traveling to Chicago in few weeks. I will check the shops at the Toronto and Chicago airports. If I had known this before, I would have checked the Mexico City Airport shops. Now I will want to collect data on toothpaste availability at airports lol.
