That stretch between Broad Channel and Howard Beach is a racetrack. Ruler straight and flat. Back in the day, the R-10s flat out flew along that stretch. Even today, trains can reach 45-46 mph.
26:15-A portion of this subway line's area looks a lot like parts of Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, East York, and York here in Toronto (the 'suburban' parts with the sprawl.)

Very great video. I did turn off the sound for a while. I felt like it was 60 years ago when I'd go to Playland beach. When there was a Playland. My nose on the glass of the R 1-9's. The R 32's looked new and ran like they were new. Keep posting.

Probably because of the train in front of us and since we stopped only a couple times at a couple stops we kept catching up to the train and it was also a Sunday so lots of delays
That is one thing I dislike about the rapid transit system, as well as the crimes committed against the transit workers (The Best People Around) who roll the big wheels abound.
This is what I badly missed! Shame on me!

I sure hope he had ear plugs or proper hearing protection!!! I mean Judas Priest, they just wouldn't shut up for even a single solitary second!!!!!
