I've caught a bunch of fish on jigs, but I'd argue that the best bass lure of all time is a rubber worm. Most versatile bait ever. Great video, Randy! Happy New Year
I mostly fish the Susquehanna river now. I used to fish a jig a lot many years ago. One question, what is the best way to put the trailer on as far as the flat side? I always put the chunk on flat side down. I saw Hank Parker talk about it once and he puts it on flat side up also. Is there a difference? Just curious....thanks!
I liked the video about ripping hair jigs off the bottom. I'm wondering if it would work on stripers. I catch a lot of really nice bass but I'm burnt out. I need to learn at least a little about a new fish.
@ I have mine in a Plano tray with a Seal that goes around the lid , but you can not leave them outside in a garage with no A/C for a small period of time or a long length of time

This is awesome. Im moving to Lake Sinclair next year (from Florida) and can not wait to fish more jigs in a traditional impoundment. Thanks so much!
Suggestion... let's push for allowing them to use ffs in practice. However no livescope/ffs during comps.
I love you man ! Thank you for always uploading videos ! I wish you nothing but health so you can keep doing what your doing , god bless you sir
Randy, clip the mic to the front of your shirt. When you have it to the side the volume is low.
Dude, you really think he reads the comments?
Do you trim the weed guard back any on that particular jig?

@@SpookyRedz thanks I will try that
@ The silicone skirts with the rubber sleeve band will go bad in heat too they melt but Mr Randy’s are hand tied with no sleeve band
Didn't get a chance yesterday with everything going on. But i wanted to wish you and your family Merry Christmas. I hope you're doing well
You too, man
The hooks back in the day were horrible ; Arkie , Stanley’s , No one made one with a good hook , they all Sucked
takes a few seconds to file a Stanley jig.
@ I’m not talking about now a days bro I’m talking in 1984
@ the hooks back then were no good
@ your talking about the point of the hook , I’m talking about the hook shape , size , and strength
