One of the most underrated vocalist's in rock/metal. His power, intensity and delivery while being able to fluctuate to softer notes is absolutely amazing.
To the haters - I'd like to see u sing this song live. Can't be an easy song to sing live - there's no break in it or son tempo, just raw energy so his voice wouldn't get a break
If only he didn't have such a toxic personality, he really held the band back from achieving greater success, which a real shame because their first few albums sounded amazing.
I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
I looove Trapt. I have been a fan of theirs for many many years and I loove Stand Up, but only this version of it honestly. (This version, as in live.) Trapt got me into Rock and keeps me into Rock. One of my all time favorite bands in the world!
This whole album was amazing. It was produced by Don Gilmore, who did Linkin Park's first two albums. Thats why it sounds so good. Plus Simon Ormandy and Aaron Montgomery were really good guitarists and drummers, respectively.
Originality shall reign supreme, especially in a genre where there are too many flavor of the month bands / songs surprisingly these guys have stood their own.
it's amazing, you got such a great band backing up such a great frontman and vocalist. yet one of the biggest issues here is the frontman's overshadowing personality... constantly holding back this band with his attitude and ego. this band could be in such a better spot if it weren't for that. talented guys.
thats there best song!!!!! i first heard them about 1 month ago at the itunes store, like it showed that recommendation bar thing then i clicked on the song and when i heard it i liked!!! now i listen to that song all the time
It may just be me, but I truly miss Simon and Aaron who are featured in this live performance and hope they reunite one day with my boys Chris and Pete. Things happen in life and I totally understand that differences lead to splitting away. Just would love to see these guys patch things up and play arena size shows. And if you're reading this, Chris...just know as a fan since 2002 I respect every decision you make and have nothing but complete love for you brother! 🙏🏻👊🏻❤️
i think im in love (= they are so good! and they sound amazing live too! seriously not many bands can actually sing anymore. it sounds like a really hard song to sing tho. he looked so out of breath lol.
@seanydo84 the funny thing is is that they used to open for Papa Roach lol,but this band deserves way better than people view them, their music is classic, amazing in every way (although a few songs need some quirks in the chorus), and they're just outstanding, Trapt is just one of those true bands that keep their styles, i just wish they were more well known for their other songs besides Headstrong, and Echo
Great fucking band. Great fucking music. I must say, that Trapt sounds really good live, a lot of bands' quality live is so much worse. But then again, while recording they got all the equipment lol. Great job guys. Thanks for Uploading the vid, bud!
They sound great live (she says in a shocked tone). Not many groups pull that off. Trapt does not get the recognition they deserve. The new CD is LIKE THAT.
if the singer sounds just as good as the studio production if not better which i think he sounds better that’s 💯 respect after that last chorus he uses his full lungs and comes outta the scream clean back to singing smoothly with no rough straining voice cracks… 💯 legit 💪🏻 most singers experience voice cracks and slight vocal strains after doing extended yells, screams or hitting higher notes, trapt definitely one of the bands that sound better live, not many out there and not many frontman can perform live like this 💯 props 💪🏻
@Brendo8799 He isn't using Autotune. There are plenty of times where he's flat and maybe one or two where he's sharp. His vocals don't have the hollow sound or abrupt pitch change that Autotune produces. This song was, I believe second to last in the set list, which is why he was singing the way he was. I usually never listen to mainstream radio, but Trapt is one of the few bands that I do like from hearing radio. I am a professional guitar player of 13 years, not some random input from someone.
@IWKILLALL I honestly prefer the Live version of "Stand Up" over the studio version. So much more power in the live version... I love Trapt! I have since I was a kid!
dude, i saw them play in this small club in my town...holy FUCK the way he screamed "BLAAAHAAAACK ROOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEE" was fucking insane i fell in love and im a dude
Yeah they even had 2 songs in the top but nearly no one heard of them I heard of them by accident when i heard that thing about headstrong and linkin park
Incubus is one of my favorite bands but not for their live stuff because it never sounds like the version released. This sounds just like the released version if not better.
@Bandimore7 lol i was like that as well, its like u slowly get addicted to more of this band's music with every song u listen to, they're just that good, my favorite CD of theirs is without a doubt Someone In Control
One of the most underrated vocalist's in rock/metal. His power, intensity and delivery while being able to fluctuate to softer notes is absolutely amazing.
His voice is amazing. One of the best frontmen I have heard.
He sounds like trash live now
To the haters - I'd like to see u sing this song live. Can't be an easy song to sing live - there's no break in it or son tempo, just raw energy so his voice wouldn't get a break
I love how he is belting it out like noones business and its not lipsinging plz note that he takes some...well intresting pauses to catch his breath.
Cannot believe this is live… the dudes legit, his voice isn’t fake lol. Phenomenal voice
If only he didn't have such a toxic personality, he really held the band back from achieving greater success, which a real shame because their first few albums sounded amazing.
@@NexusKin Toxic? for having an opinion?
@@NexusKinLol toxic cause his opinion is different from yours…
My god he sings that chorus with all his lungs. They sound better live I think
I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Nixon Jase Instablaster :)
Damn he's got one powerful voice.
Great Band! its awesome to see a band that puts out ENTIRE ALBUMS that are good instead of one or two singles. Plus this dude can rock it live.
Trapt never fails to make a Great Song ,Great Show , I love Chris's voice.
WTF!!! This was live filmed? O,O Doesn't sound like a live song O,O Holy sh*t balls he is EPIC to sing
I looove Trapt. I have been a fan of theirs for many many years and I loove Stand Up, but only this version of it honestly. (This version, as in live.) Trapt got me into Rock and keeps me into Rock. One of my all time favorite bands in the world!
Damn. I did not expect him to belt out that chorus the way he did. He nailed it.
daaaaayuuuum
the drummer nails the fill at 1:26, just like on the studio version.
I heard this track about 5 years ago on the radio, and since then it has not left my smartphone. I listen to it very often. The guitars sound amazing.
This whole album was amazing. It was produced by Don Gilmore, who did Linkin Park's first two albums. Thats why it sounds so good. Plus Simon Ormandy and Aaron Montgomery were really good guitarists and drummers, respectively.
Saw them in 2006, they were awesome. Still on of my favorites songs!
Originality shall reign supreme, especially in a genre where there are too many flavor of the month bands / songs surprisingly these guys have stood their own.

Impressive to perform at this level for a song that sounds somewhat easy for the instruments but completely opposite for the voice!

uuuggh I HAVE to see them live!!! They're amazing!
i love chris' expressions lol
awesome performance!
Great fucking band.
Great fucking music. I must say, that Trapt sounds really good live, a lot of bands' quality live is so much worse. But then again, while recording they got all the equipment lol.

They sound great live (she says in a shocked tone). Not many groups pull that off. Trapt does not get the recognition they deserve. The new CD is LIKE THAT.
