hella good doe 4 realz....T.I.P n Drifterz r da best bboy choreo i seen so far...very unique n not just bunch of fancy footwork or powermoves but its all around...it give u dat feeling in da beginning where dey just warmin n up n once da tempo n da beat starts hittin dats wen dey startin hittin 2...love dis yo
Yo know what, it just shows how Drifters can dance to a song with hardley any breaks, and pull out the best routines so professionaly, this is why they are The legends of BBoy'n. And No disrespect to others.
this is a performence where they tried to emphasize korean traditional music n move.. thats why u might feel kinda slow but as techinical wise this perform was crazy
One of my favorite Drifters performances... Sure it starts out slow, but that's the point. It builds and builds, and they executed it really well. Overall a dope show from a dope crew.
That was an awesome show. would have been so much better if the CAMERA WAS CENTERED the whole time and let you watch it the way it was set up to be seen. Every Korean crew wows me every time I watch em!
LOL The level of prestige that Hong 10 holds... Even when they announce Drifterz, everyone cheers "Hong 10, Hong 10, Hong 10" from 0:13 to 0:19. Just insane. Hong 10 has already become a legend.
Hong10 never became a legend. He was ALWAYS a legend, the day he was born. His name Kim Hong Yul (10 in Korean) even prophesized his future b-boy name. Along with his godly talents that was magnificently crafted by the Zeus. He is the number one b-boy in the world. Even with his age he can still smash skulls.
This show really puts to rest the classic stereotype of koreans being only able to do power moves, this clearly shows they can be versitile and add creativity and style a world stage act. Props. howerver i personally found that the traditional drums may have been used to much and should have atleast synthesized them periodically
this is one of the biggest bboying aka breakdancing (not hip hop) comepetion that is held every year in Germany. it started in 1991 and is still going on. to be in this you a crew has to compete and win the prelimnary in their country. Korea's preliminary is known as the hardest every. winning the Korean preliminary means that you will get minimum 3rd place in the international one. so far no Korean crew has placed under 3rd in the world final besides Visual Shock in 2001.
this is something i would expect more from a japanese team. not that technically intense but more stylistic and choreographic. using the traditional drums was interesting but i think i prefer the hip-hop/dance beats. i saw some pretty big sync problems among other mistakes too. it didn't hold my attention well either (which seems to be the case with a few of the 2006 shows. 2005 was a better year). i'm kinda surprised this ranked so high.
I wouldn't say nothing happens. They establish themselves as the best in terms of boty for another year plus they get to come back and further test themselves and see if they can prove they are indeed the best (which I believe to be almost true, they're my favorite crew next to TIP) but my point was, if boty wanted to as professional as possible they would've made better judgements. Sorry for being hostile, I do see your point but I wonder why crews CAN't win twice if they deserve it. Anyway Cya
That still doesn't and never will justify the fact that the LESS stronger team (which you admit to) is winning. Why the hell are there even battles and performances in the first place then. Why not just call some unfortunate crew with "no opportunities" every year and give em some exposure in whereever they're from?
@CJoMin yea, too bad drifterz is underratted, cause they have mad bboys in that crew that could possibly hold it down with Hong10, like, tricx, Coma, Moon and theygot a whole arsenal including Hong 10.
I disagree. So you're saying if a president who was great in all aspects ran for 2nd term of president and won the electoral and popular vote, the electoral college should give the presidency to the other candidate? The opportunity thing is bullshit because a) Last for one is rather poor and some are in poverty. b) There aren't that many ways to make money through bboying in Korea. c) If Vagabonds were good enough they would've already made "opportunities" for themselves.
Yeah because debating is completely immature and pointless right? What are you 12? 1) No shit it's for other's enjoyment. But just like you said, it's a fucking competition which means teams COMPETE to earn their placings, not have it handed to them. 2) I never discredited the fact that Vagabonds made it to Int. Boty 3) There you go, you just admitted it again. 4) This statement made no sense. So you respect the judges for falsely crowning the winner. Ok
1) During the entire battle, Vagabonds kept stalling and barely gave Last for One a chance to dance. I like routines as much as the next guy but if you keep going on with DIFFERENT ones, that's just plain rude and not just to lfo. 2) Salah was a judge, I realize someone judging from the same country always has bias but from the same fucking crew? 3) Vagabonds interrupted lfo SEVERAL times AND they disobeyed the rules in the last minute. Now try to actually make sense or GTFO. Thanks.

one word sums up this performance
Style
that headspin is crazy!
this is a performence where they tried to emphasize korean traditional music n move.. thats why u might feel kinda slow but as techinical wise this perform was crazy
respect for Drifters, they trying to represent Korea hard core, Korean 4 Life
Damn. That was sick when the beat when faster and they responded real well to the beat.
One of my favorite Drifters performances... Sure it starts out slow, but that's the point. It builds and builds, and they executed it really well.
Overall a dope show from a dope crew.
are you sure you watched all the way from start to end?
cuz it gets REALLY COOOOOOL!!
thiis is what we call "originality" wow!
one of best hong 10's solo in BOTY showcase
the back ground of music is almost pure traditional instrument used
BBOY MOON !!! he has smooth clean windmills and airflares
the drum sound is from korea's traditional drum~ not a music song u can download with
word!
That was an awesome show. would have been so much better if the CAMERA WAS CENTERED the whole time and let you watch it the way it was set up to be seen.
Every Korean crew wows me every time I watch em!
i have to say although this is not the cleanest and powerful show of Drifterz it is still the most entertaining and exciting one
LOL
The level of prestige that Hong 10 holds... Even when they announce Drifterz, everyone cheers "Hong 10, Hong 10, Hong 10" from 0:13 to 0:19. Just insane. Hong 10 has already become a legend.

BBoy T!!! That was good.

Haha will do =)
they are koreans :P

why would hong 10 be the only one creative in a crew with more than 10 genius bboys? ducky and bboy T were in expression crew too

@CJoMin

It was sick though but I didnt like the korean ethnic song the drum beats are nice, they could have use real breakbeat.
For a Korean crew, this showcase isn't as good as the other crews from Korea.
Yeah because debating is completely immature and pointless right? What are you 12?
