In many japanese high schools (maybe middle schools) there would be funerals for a student who has died at school as a tribute. People would leave flowers over their desk to show that a student as passed.

From the description when it says "life flash before her eyes" it basically implys she had died and those flowers being on her desk were placed there to pay respects for the fallen student. As like I said before schools in Japan would leave flowers on a student's desk if they had passed away. Those flowers were placed there after she has died.

Theory
In the description it says "her life is flashing before her eyes" I think right before she died she thought of memorys with the person with red eyes. Also there flower on the desk at the end of the video, students in Japan do that when a classmate has passed.
Ooo now I get it, so you're saying that this vid was like her memory of her with the guy she liked but then she couldn't confess her felings bcuz she was sick so she could only hold on to those memories they had but in the end she dies.

Light was always Karred's childhood friend. She stuck with him. She was literally the light in his life. Karred had issues, but Light still stuck with him.
That hat beside Zara, it was Light's. Either Light gave that to Karred, or the first clip happened after Light died, and that hat is a stand-in for her.
Karred looks... dull. So I think it is possible that the beginning clip was after Light died.
While talking to Zara, Karred thinks about his childhood with Light.
The video then rewinds, taking us back to the past (when Light was still alive), where we see light in a hospital gown. The video ends with a desk with flowers. In Japan, when a student dies, flowers are put on their table.
She died from a disease, either innate or caught. I'm guessing it was incurable and only started to affect her in her Highschool years.

Extra: The title SAVE. Light saved Karred. Light *saved* Karred from spiraling into madness. Only... Light couldn't save herself, and Karred couldn't save her either.
