My first time in Ibiza and on that terrace was 2002. The sunday afternoon I spent there that year and during the following two summers, before they redesigned that legendary terrace for the 2005 season, were a revelation in the meaning of elation and communal celebration! The sheer uplift of that place! It was unfortunate that local politics and regulations (as I understand were the reasons) forced the complete redesign of the terrace. The feng shui somehow was never the same after that!
Would take me another 5 years to get there, but I got there. Age 30, still flogging myself, saw Morillo there, fuck what an afternoon/night/morning… RIP Mate
