- Come along as Matt Chases this Gobbler for Multiple days.
Late season is one of the best times to find a big
long spurred Gobbler, but this year in OHIO was TOUGH.
A successful Turkey Hunter has to be mentally tough,
especially when nothing is going right a few days in a row.
Come along with Matt as he chases this tough, hard to kill,
Gobbler.

You sure put in the time, and it paid off. Congratulations on a great bird. The Lord sure is good.
This was one of ur best videos of what to do while u were actually doing it. I think u did a great job filming & capturing hunt
He who works hardest comes out with a bird over his shoulder.
Good job showing the strategy and on the fly adjustments required to get the gobbler.
You certainly earned that one. Thanks for showing how it really goes out there! We're getting close for this year.
Loved the video. Felt like I was there with you. Love the shoulder camera action! You seem like such a humble guy and a master at the game of Turkey hunting.
Man that's good stuff!
Hey Dale
Ohio has gotten tough the last couple years...i can usually find em but the numbers are way down... but they did have a good hatch last year so hopefully it gets better

❤thankyoulordformatt
Great video of just how tough it usually is
If it was easy everyone would want to do it! Congratulations
Great video as always. Looking forward to more videos this spring
Love the Chess game type. They teach you.
I guess to each his own because to me Deer hunting (mature buck)is 500 times more complicated than Turkey hunting. Thank God a turkey can't smell like a deer or you'd never kill one.
Just gotta love it
Thanx for the video! I just ordered your signature series box call before they sell out...ill see if i can video a hunt using the box call to sweet talk one in this spring! Can't wait to handle the call, they look amazing!
Seek and ye shall find ask it shall be given to you knock and it shall be opened Amen 🙏. Sometimes THE LORD makes us put some effort into things before HE rewards us Amen 🙏.
Had one like that last year. Took me 3 days to eventually sneak in on his strutting spot on the ridge.
You want tough….. come to north Bama and hunt the Bankhead…. Good job Matt
The easy part and the hard part of turkey hunting is there is no one set way to do it. With deer hunting you know to play the wind or set up a certain way. If you move around on a gobbler for hours and never see him and you finally decide to try and get closer and he shuts up and you never hear from him again, did he see you? Should you have waited? Did he have hens and move off?
Exactly, the uncertaincy is half the fun.
Matt does an excellent job of teachin us how to deal with it.
Cheers 🇨🇦
Matt awesome video and hunt love your content especially a nice Ohio turkey cool to watch you hunt in my home state ! I’ll be hitting the woods here soon to start scouting !
Also do you take fan questions ? If so where can we reach out to you with them ?
@@andrewspisak253Facebook page if your on Facebook
Nice to hunt private where you can pattern them without interference from other hunters.
That's how ya work em.
What call are you using? It looked gray in color. Is that spring fever or another one
Matt, I have some questions about the 3020. I am about to get a shotgun for my 10 uear old that he can turkeys hunt as well as duck and dove and deer hunt with. I have a franchi and was going to get one of the compacts ones for him but I just can't decide between the stoeger and the franchi.
What is the name of the calling type you're doing at the beginning of the video? Its the first sound you make on setup #1.Please do a tutorial on that sound
I believe bubble clucks n some wits contentment Calls I’m sure he got a vidieo check his old ones
OLD DALE GOT HIMSELF A SCOPED GUN!! WHY NO DECOY IN AN OPEN FIELD FOR YOU?
Nah let them come find ya !! That’s my favorite way to hunt.
No decoys and just me and the gobbler. ;)
Dang near as tough hunting as them south Georgia turkeys?
Shew! almost lol
I thought for a while I was in Georgia again
Okay, had one wouldn't come out went around us and still wouldn't come out. Then my girlfriend wanted to move to him. Then he took off. Then I said, let move back to where we started. She said, okay. Told her to get ready. She looked at me and said, why he not here. Next thing you know it came out and strutted right in front of her. No gun in her hands. I told her to get ready. She never shot him. So, I said, next time I am going to get ready just in case she don't shoot. I never got a turkey in North Carolina and never called one in.
I got the biggest bird of my life last season thank you for the education it was hard but hit that silent treatment on him had completely bad setup, was walking and calling and he gobbled right on top of me hit my butt my brother started cuttin to him and he was fired up but wasn't movin i thought about one of your videos and said lets go quiet on him and sure nough in 5min i shot him at 8steps, "bad setup" but they 835 with them long beard xrs blew through it
