Oh Hazel. I am sure that the death of both of your sons was undescribably painful. It was painful for me to witness the death of both of my parents between 2018 and 2020. This past Christmas was emotionally painful while my church congregation was singing Silent Night acapella. I cried hard. So yes, both of them are in Heaven rejoicing in God's presence. In the meantime, my sister and her husband have a picture of both of my parents in playroom wall of their house in case their grandkids visit them to show these little ones who their great-grandparents are. I am sure that dealing with the loss of your sons is very hard for you. In a similar way, dealing with the loss of my parents is hard. God be with you, Hazel.

Yeah, I could travel more easily if I want to. Yet there is a dark emptiness that I feel powerless to fill in.

I lost my niece on June 12, 2022. She was 23 yrs pretty young girl who had current shock in her bathroom and died instantly. This was so sudden and unexpected. My whole family is shattered. Both my elder sister and her daughter passed away and the family is with 3 men (dad and 2 sons). A family without a wife and daughter feels so helpless. May God make a way for us where there seems to be no way.
I am so sorry for what you are going through. It must be so tough for all of you - especially for your brother in law and his two sons. May God be very close to you as you grieve your loss. It’s not something that you can just get over. May God bring to your mind the memories of good times and the hope of better ones in His eternal kingdom.
