New just broke 6 December 2021 - The two police offices who took photos of the bodies of Bibaa and Nicole are sentenced to 2 years and 9 months in jail each for the act.
@@asimhussain8716 not just terrible ethical conduct, but in criminal cases, something like that could potentially be enough to make the whole case fall apart & thus the killer go free. So yeah the harsh sentencing was definitely to make an example of the officers, but I think it was rightly so.
@@asimhussain8716 they'll most likely do less than a year though. If their sentence had been any less they probably would have got a suspended sentence, which wouldn't have gone down well at all in the public perception & seemed like justice not being served just because they're police.
Who takes a selfie in front of two murdered women? That’s disgusting and shows a complete lack of empathy, which is terrifying considering they’re policemen.
It is disgusting, but do remember they see this everyday, they are de sensitive to these things, doesn't make it right but I believe that's why they do it, not to mock but you never know
@@ShaggyrayMMA I work at an animal hospital and when the sick pass I have never thought about taking a pic. I'm used to it- to a degree. These men were trying to show off or seem like they are badass idk whatever their reason it's not normal imo. If it was someone *they* loved I know they wouldn't want someone to do that. It's just so gross and shows what kind of people they are.
Unfortunately, it's far from the worst thing that London police officers have done recently. The Met has seen countless cases of officers committing sexual assault, let alone a confirmed rape/murder, just in the past year. In the latter case, the offending officer had prior (related) convictions. At this point, I don't know if it can ever be fixed.
I love the way you focus on the victims to build up a picture of them as individuals. It's a lovely tribute to them. Too often the sick perpetrators get too much limelight. Keep up the great work mate.
@@azazello1784 Knowing during WWII, How Great Britain fought off the Nazi with hundreds of Spitfire Aircraft and how Bibaa's personality and achievements were, calling her Spitfire showed how strong and brave she was to her family. So it is not a violent thing to be called Spitfire.

The fact that the last moment the sister’s shared together was so loving between the two and then having to try to fight for eachother’s lives and sadly failing will always make sad when reading about this crime
"I'm dancing in a field." My heart is so sad for these two beautiful human beings who had so much love and life to give. Rest in peace Bibaa and Nikki, the world will always remember you.
Hey Adrian! I'd like to recommend a case from Germany, the murder of hitchhiker Sophia Lösche in 2018. It was quite big in terms of police failure and the massive search effort launched by her family and friends. They tracked her down but it was too late, quite horrific ordeal...the parents are amazingly strong and kind people, I'd love to see their story told! ❤
I too hope he does a video about that poor girl, Sophia. Maybe things will change if there's international exposure...I've never heard of this case and I live in the U.S.
I'm glad that they had one last idyllic day together, but seeing their smiles makes it so much sadder. I really appreciate how much you humanise the victims and remember them fondly. Most people focus on the killer - and I'll admit I'm guilty of it too - but it's them who matter the most.
I know this is an older video and odds are you're not going to read this, but I do very much like that you take the victims, their families, and their experiences into account when you do your videos. I've seen a lot True Crime channels on UA-cam where they treat the victims like somebody who is in the wrong place at the wrong time and don't actually focus on them. You humanize the crime from the victims standpoint, and I think that's why I keep coming back to watching your videos, because you absolutely remember that these are people, not body counts
This story broke my heart. Two sisters just living and loving one another on a special day...and then a messed up person with a very punchable face taking their lives for his own deluded reasons. The girls both seemed so special and like someone you would want to have as a friend. I hope their family and their spirits find peace.
Those cops who took pictures of the bodies, should've been fired. That's completely unacceptable. You gotta wonder how many other private pictures they took from other crime scenes.
Thank you for calling the idiot selfie cops out by name and showing their faces, I feel like enough true crime channels gloss over police misconduct like this
I completely agree! And the thought that these 2 "men" are supposedly paid to "protect and serve" the very individuals they basically mocked by taking selfies in front of their deceased bodies. This infuriates me to no end!!!! I pray for their mother.
Yeah, when he named the 2 PC’s and said they’d been immediately suspended I said “good” out loud to an empty room. Police like that shouldn’t keep their jobs.
@@helenbunnehmummeh5154 "said good out loud to and empty room" I DON'T FEEL SO BAD NOW BECAUSE THAT WAS MY EXACT REACTION! And the fact that he called them out by name with their picture, that made my day. I support our police but these idiots deserve jail time (IMO).
No actually it shows how deadly a surprise knife attack is. It doesn’t matter what gender you are, if someone surprises you and starts stabbing you, your chances of living are extremely slim. Just look at how Jody Arias murdered her ex.
That's actually pretty common on murders where kitchen knives are the weapon of choice, they're smaller than other types of knives so it is pretty easy for you to cut your hand while stabbing, you'll notice that every kitchen knife murderer shows up with wounds on their hands when they're caught.
@@ninototo1 That's your speculation. Reality is quite different. Also, I'm not sure why you're trying to disparage the two victims of a violent stabbing ambush.
Yea me too, I watch alot of these kinds of videos so whenever a channel comes out with a new video alot of the time I already know the case, it's really nice he does less known cases.
Knowing the full story instead of the bits and pieces I gathered from the news makes this so much sadder. Nicole's hands being thoroughly stabbed because she was so desperate to try to protect Bibaa made me cry. The last photo of them likely being of them spotting Danyal walking over to them absolutely freaked me out as well. Such lovely women, killed by a guy with the brain of an edgy 14 year old who wrote a letter to a demon like a kid writes a letter to Santa and expecting his word automatically made it so.
Hussein's idiotic, delusional lack of maturity is really quite disturbing. It's mind blowing that his mother was so clueless, and that he went that far down his batshit rabbit hole. This is an extremely tragic and disturbing case.
This part is what makes this stick with me so. There are many times where someone’s last moments are captured…but this one was so poignantly sad and tragic while also beautiful. Something about the picture with them flashing the lights and then Bibaa looking over at him is very haunting. They were literally just enjoying their lives not bothering a single soul, when the devil arrived.

Also I’ve now read quite a few comments regarding his/his lawyers/solicitor are “blaming” or using Autism/ASD/Asbergers Syndrome to explain or justify his actions. I wanted to shed some light on that - people are getting his solicitor/Lawyers defense tactic confused with what they think is someone making an excuse or blaming their mental disorder. I don’t think anyone thinks that Autism is a justification for the actions he committed- again that’s a defense lawyer strategy, albeit an extremely desperate, low class, if not common one. This is a defense strategy to try to gain future leniency in sentencing. They knew their client was guilty, the evidence was overwhelming, and they didn’t have a realistic way (or will, likely) to fight his case for him. Thus the best they can do for their client (remember it could be illegal or at least reputation ruining to not provide the best defense they can offer their client) regardless of if they want to or even believe he deserves it. If they didn’t even try, then he could claim his attorneys did not provide adequate services and easily get a retrial, extending the process for months and years for everyone involved. The morals and ethics of being a defense attorney/solicitor is a very complex snd deep subject, I’m not here to argue either way but felt it was necessary to help people understand the reasons lawyers do some things vs others. Hope this makes sense.
Still they can't all be such good loving bubbly people as often described... I bet there were some absolute twats among them but gotta respect the dead either way
This case is so incredibly upsetting to me just to imagine the suffering and pain the family and these women had to go through after what should have been a joyous day. On top of that the absolute apathy of the police is just like another wound to it all. So so so fucked up and so incredibly sad. I hope the family and friends who obviously cared so much about these two lovely people can one day find peace and that their spirits live on

As a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I'm distressed & bewildered that a lawyer would suggest the condition might be a mitigating factor in a violent crime. ASD makes it hard for me to understand some things about social situations & occasionally I react in ways that people find weird or off-putting, but it has never NEVER made me inclined towards violence or crime. Whatever led this young man down such a dark path, it was NOT his ASD! Next time I dance in the rain or play with fairy lights, I'll think of Bibaa & Nicole.
It doesn't surprise me you have autism. Basically, what the lawyer was trying to achieve was build his client's defense in any way possible. Claiming that your client suffers from a mental health disorder will convince the judge to give him a lighter sentence, because it will persuade the judge that the criminal wasn't 100% sound of mind and his actions may have been influenced by his condition. It's a good strategy, especially since the prosecution had such a strong case against the guy. I hope that explains it.
Stupid thing to say. Migitgating circumstances have never meant that everyone who has it has to be a criminal, the whole point of it is to say that it might have been a factor out of the defendant's control in their crime. It is like saying, 'childhood abuse can never be a factor in someone's actions because I was abused as a child and never committed a crime.' Doesn't make sense.
LMAO, the lawyer doesn't believe that autistic people are more violent. It's a decent attempt to take advantage of the jurors not knowing enough about it that maybe he can trick them into believing his client is not as guilty. Rule of thumb. Assume a defence lawyer doesnt believe anything he is pretending to believe especially if you can tell it is in any way convenient for him and his guilty client lol
"The police showed very little energy" as they do for literally any missing persons case that isn't a celebrity. If true crime videos have taught me anything it's that the police will probably not help you with anything time sensitive. If you're lucky, they MAY investigate your death after the fact, but even that's not really guaranteed.
Celebrity is going to be high profile due to the nature fir some reason people fawn over them. Nothing new under the sun there. I will state though that as someone who has worked with (not for) law enforcement you have to understand that they don't have the resources or manpower to go running off after every missing persons case/request. The number that get reported are staggeringly high and most turn out not to be. Especially within a 24 hour period and no evidence of nefarious behavior to go on. That with the addition of defend the police movements that have gone on since right around this timeline and you can maybe see why they didn't jump right on it. Just a little perspective. It's easy for the narrators in these cases to Monday morning vilify the police. Most are doing the best they can.
@@michaels7325 Nah. The most crucial time to look for missing people is the moment they're reported. It's literally the police's job: inaction is inexcusable. If they were so afraid to act due to the defund-the-police movement, why weren't the two officers afraid to take selfies with the victims' bodies? To me, that seems symptomatic of a police force that doesn't care about those it's supposed to protect, which is why some want to defund it in the first place.

These two young women seemed like wonderful, wholesome people and it's heartbreaking what happened to them. I'm also glad to see the note that the two disgusting police officers got jail time for what they did.
This was one of the saddest cases you have covered. The way you walked us through those wonderful sisters lives really did them justice and made it hurt when we had to remember and hear of their passing. I wish anything at all had been done in those brief moments that could have saved these girls lives. One of their friends choosing to stay back, them leaving early, Daniyal tripping over a branch and falling face first into his own knife, just anything. They were amazing and this should not have happened, to anyone
I saw this case on another UA-cam channel and they missed out SO many details and made it look like some psycho randomly attacked people camping in a forest. Thank you for covering this so thoroughly
My jaw dropped several times throughout this case. But the utter callousness of these two police officers simply broke my heart. These two beautiful sisters who had unconditional love for each other were brutally murdered. THEN the police officers that were supposed to serve and protect decided to take photos and demean them and their family. Absolutely disgusting. I did recently read that they have been attacked in prison several times by other inmates. While I don’t condone violence of any kind, it does make me feel like they are getting what they deserve.
for real, i never knew these details about the sisters, even though i've heard other peoples' coverage. it is truly saddening to learn who these women were and wonder who they could've been in the long run, if not for an edgelord murderer

Narcissists. People without empathy. It happens a lot in the Philippines, but not by cops, regular normal people who come across some gruesome car accident or someone getting shot by gangbangers or muggers. They think it's funny but it's not.
Oh yes.... I've seen car accidents and people going out their vehicles to snap pictures/video of the victims Theres also nurses posting selfies with sedated patients or their removed organs right after surgery... A classmate wanted me to take pictures of her posing, sticking her head in some crematorium at Dachau concentration camp... I refused and felt sick. Then we have Logan Paul laughing and uploading videos of a japanese suicide victim.... whats wrong with people?
I've reached the point in my true crime addiction where I've pretty much gone through all major/popular cases. And now I find myself re-watching stories about the same cases, just by different UA-camrs.
Stories like this one always make me wonder how many people would still be alive, how many families would still be together or at least have some closer if the police just did their job when they were supposed too.
As a father, I think the police took too long to react. As a practical person I think the police get innumerable missing persons reports, most of which resolve themselves, and they could never feasibly follow up on all of them immediately, so I can't say they can be held accountable in that sense. Honestly, we need a new professional missing persons task force that focus solely on those reports, and once criminal activity has been detected, then police should get involved. As far as the dudes taking selfish with their bodies, f**k them and that group chat. That's bulls**t and pure nonsense. Everyone on that group chat needs reprimanding and anyone sharing dead body photos should be up for termination. Unacceptable.
Even if there was a missing persons task force, they could never feasibly investigate every case that comes their way, most of which would resolve themselves anyway - as you pointed out. I just don't see a practical solution to this.
This one was so heartbreaking! Scary how being in the wrong place at the wrong time lead to this. It’s frustrating how police never seem to respond to a missing persons case with seriousness from the beginning. Thinking of the family and friends of these two beautiful women who were taken.

As a person on the spectrum, I am *disgusted* with the strategy of blaming his actions on it. We can be held culpable for murder just as much as neurotypicals, god fucken jesus christ.
I'm tired of people justifying mental illness and disorders as an excuse for the monsters to kill. We aren't all like this I agree with you OP I wish they stop.
Yeah, it's annoying, but it works, because people are fucking stupid, always throwing their emotions and sympathy where it doesn't belong. I'm not autistic or anything, but I understand, I can't imagine it not pissing you off. Whether people see what they're doing or not, it doesn't matter, they're basically insulting people with autism when they buy into this bullshit. Scumbags make a mockery of autism, trying to use it to excuse their horrible actions, and people actually fall for it, actually believing that people with autism aren't capable of understanding right from wrong, or controlling their actions lol it's blatantly insulting.
Either of you ever hear of Chris Chan? He's a perfect example. Not exactly murder, but he's done some absolutely horrible shit, and people always try to just blame his autism, it's pathetic.
I cannot fathom the cold hearted mindset of the officers that took selfies with the victims bodies. It honestly makes me wonder what else they are capable of.
Their bodies must have been in a very secluded part of the park, as I can't imagine that no one else had come upon two dead bodies of women. Based on their last picture taken, it must have been pitch black where they were...perfect for someone to do something to them without anyone seeing, poor girls. They were also attacked and killed after 1 am...obviously there was no way they would have known that this horrible murderer would be out and about looking for victims (and thank God that he was arrested before he killed more girls)...yet I wish they both would have followed the old fashioned but accurate advice that nothing good happens after midnight. A sad, cautionary tale. Poor girls...never got to grow up.
I became really choked up at your sentiment towards the sisters, especially with the quote from their outing decor. 🤭 Thank you for not ONLY focusing on the perpetrators, instead you provide a humanist perspective in regard to the victims. ❤️
Wow. That guy seriously blamed all of his actions on autism. Perhaps he didn't research that autism has nothing to do with intentional murder and (obviously) making a contract with a demon
This is why fairytales are so important. This case reads like a modern fairytale. The two women dance alone in a field naively believing they are safe when a monster was moving in on them.
This case is one of the WORST I've heard of just today, & that's not acceptable. No mother should have to bury her 2 daughters in this manner. After watching this channel, and a few other true-crime channels, I have learned one thing that seems to be universally true; you cannot rely on the police to help you. This crime, along with too many others, makes me understand why public executions were a thing. Talk, threats, fines, parole, jail; all of these pale in comparison to the effectiveness of seeing a fellow criminal swing until he stops kicking.
Imho, if a country is going to execute its citizens then they should do it openly and not hide it. Unfortunately, I feel some crimes are not punished harshly enough while others are over kill, sometimes quite literally. After becoming a true crime aficionado I have seen so many cases of juries that are not aware of what "reasonable doubt" is and have read (not 100%) that 1/10 of the executed in the US could be innocent. BUT, like I originally said. If we are going to have capital punishment, don't hide it, show people the reality and gravity of the consequences of one's actions.
Genuinely distressing that the world is in no way safe for women to be in. There is so much murder of women, and we can't even be out at night dancing under the stars, in each other's company, without the risk of being murdered. I love these videos and the way Adriam tells these stories, he really made me feel connected to the story and these women really resonated with me. However, it just makes me feel so terrified for my safety as a woman mainly alone in the world. It just feels awful to know how often this happens to bright aspiring people. We must take good care of each other and learn how to better look out for one another. All of us. Sending any others who may feel the same way my love, stay safe.
This is probably one of the more heartbreaking videos you made. From living in the moment happiest you can be, to being killed in just hours after just doesn’t seem right.
I'm really liking your channel. I think it's great how you give us background on the victims. Not many crime channels do that and I applaud this. Well done!
They asked him about the injuries on his fingers and gave the most obvious stall tactic Ive ever seen lol... he was clearly trying to think of something to say but nothing came to mind so he just acted like he didnt hear em and tried changing the subject asking if it was the interview.
so sad to see the surveillance footage and photos from the picnic knowing they only had hours left to live their lives. The whole case is just devastating
Really like the way your channel doesnt shy away from calling people 'idiots' or 'bozos' as we would in every day life. You relate to us more strongly that way.
These crimes that happen during the pandemic always strike me. It seemed like a time where everyone was coming together for the global good and there was a real sense of looking out for one another. But there were still people out there looking to hurt and kill others. Makes me think of the Sarah Everard case where Wayne Couzens was specifically using the pandemic as a tool in his own plotting.
@@TheDramacist Notice what ? The satanist images ? I mean, if I were to see that as a parent, I wouldn't even know it's satanic. Maybe he didn't hide it because his room was 100% private with the parents never going in. And if they did go in, he could have just hidden all of that easily. People who are like that hide what they truly think, and it's not like you can just think "My son's a bit different... I bet he's a killer."

I know that is t what you meant but on my channel I discuss a couple cases that happened during lockdown and were likely influenced by the whole situation at the time. I did cover the Sarah Everard and Sabina Nessa cases in one video. And my latest is on Penelope Jackson who stabbed her husband of 24 years to death after an argument…and her behaviour after the fact which was recorded both on the 999 call and police body cam is something you don’t see too often.
No matter how long we are here on this earth, as long as we leave family, strangers and friends with beautiful memories life can never be a waste because our breath lives in those memories when we pass. I didn't even know them personally, but hearing about them touch my heart.
This case is absolutely heartbreaking. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and terror those poor women endured. The actions of those police officers were utterly abhorrent. It makes me so angry, they are absolutely vile. Enough to make you lose faith in humanity.
Here in the States Police officers are even more disgusting in their ways and actions that taking selfie’s with 2 dead bodies( while this is absolutely disgusting) seems like a walk in the park compared to some of the corruption by Law Enforcement in the U.S.A., and trust me I’m not bragging….I’m absolutely ashamed 🤮

i feel like too many crime channels rely on shock and horror and i think it's too easy to forget that real lives were irreversibly changed by the crimes they cover. it really makes me appreciate the amount of time and care you put into telling the victims' stories with the respect they deserve instead of sensationalizing the horrific actions of some criminal. something about this case in particular really got to me and my heart goes out to those girls and their loved ones. i hope there's peace and healing for all of them at the end of this
These women seemed absolutely lovely, so horrifying what happened to them. I gotta say I'm at least glad that Daniel was terrible at hiding his tracks and got immediately caught before there was any more victims. The "demon" couldn't protect his sorry ass.
Can I just say I absolutely love how much focus you put on the victims. Entirely too many criminals are in it for the fame, and making the memories of the victims more of the focus of the videos is a refreshing change of true crime pace.
I had never heard of this case before. I feel like I got to know a small glimpse of who beeba and Nicole are. Their last day really says a lot about them. How they loved each other and their friends. It really f’s me up that their last moments of happiness are captured on cameras, in the same spot that would be their first moments of evil. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time, How can the family ever come to closure with that? What if their friends would’ve stayed a little longer. What if the girl would’ve left a few moments earlier? All the what if’s but in our world in our reality this is the way the events played out. I can’t imagine a world where that demonic POS deserves To walk free. If it was my family mourning my death! He’d better watch his back the second he gets let out. Hello Adrian, I love to hear these real stories from you. Keep up the good work. Also I wish you could cover the most famous Indian Nirbhaya Case of Dec 16, 2012 It was the rape case which took place on a running bus by a gang of men. The case had shook all of the Indians and is still one of the most heart breaking case. You painted such a vivid picture of those two amazing women I genuinely forgot I was watching a true crime video, I was so swept up in their personalities! It was such a gut punch when I remembered what channel I was watching. RIP to those two bright, beautiful ladies, and I hope the Smallman and Henry families are healing as peacefully as possible.

Thank you for sharing - and great news to hear! Let me pin this comment 📌🎉
This whole case angered me a lot so at least some good news for their poor mother!
I certainly hope they will be cleaning toilets in jail and continue to do so once they are out! What an utter disgrace for the police force

Hey Adrian! I'd like to recommend a case from Germany, the murder of hitchhiker Sophia Lösche in 2018. It was quite big in terms of police failure and the massive search effort launched by her family and friends. I'm glad that they had one last idyllic day together, but seeing their smiles makes it so much sadder. I really appreciate how much you humanise the victims and remember them fondly. Most people focus on the killer - and I'll admit I'm guilty of it too - but it's them who matter the most.
Well said. These 2 women were absolute gifts to this world.
Sadly it shows that even 2 brave women have no chance against 1 man.

Thank you!!! :( I’m autistic as well, and that part bothered me so much.
Well said
Stupid thing to say.
@@opossums-will-sing Not when there is zero evidence except for the worried persons word. You do realize that 70 to 90 percent of missing people that turn up the people who reported them missing claimed "this is unlike them".

This is a desperately sad story. The photo of the sisters standing there waving the Christmas lights, so full of joy and a certain child-like innocence, is very poignant because we know that they were in mortal danger and was unaware of its approach.
Yes. It made me cry and I don't cry easily.
I was eating a snack while watching and I thought I misheard you when you said the two cops took selfies. Literally had to rewind to make sure I heard it correctly. Absolutely disgusting, and honestly what beautiful but also incredibly sad photos that they ended up taking. To think that we're looking at their very last moments - stuff like this always really gets me.
Thanks as always for handling the case with so much respect

Humans are complicated
A police woman took a picture of my mom's body and posted on Facebook and believe me it was so infuriating and painful what she did. No respect for me or anyone. Some ppl are just that disrespectful and insensitive
I know it gets said a lot in the comments. But what really sets your channel apart is the focus on the victims. These two young women seemed like wonderful, wholesome people and it's heartbreaking what happened to them. I'm also glad to see the note that the two disgusting police officers got jail time for what they did.
I hope karma comes swiftly for those two policeman that took the selfies with the bodies. Absolutely sickening.
I agree 100%
I hope they get to see the inside of a jail cell for a long time.
As of today it did. 2 years and some months (I forgot the exact time) for each of them.
Well said!!!
I saw this case on another UA-cam channel and they missed out SO many details and made it look like some psycho randomly attacked people camping in a forest. Thank you for covering this so thoroughly
I mean he is a psycho and he did randomly attack those two women. The reason he attacked them wasn't random, but they were.
I really like how you always honour the victims and only give the required info about the killer
for real, i never knew these details about the sisters, even though i've heard other peoples' coverage. it is truly saddening to learn who these women were and wonder who they could've been in the long run, if not for an edgelord murderer
Nevermind them being so called "police officers", WHO in their right mind takes selfies with dead bodies??? Anyone?? What a real horrid act WITHIN a real horrid act, smh! Love to the family 💕

@@Scion141 they wouldn't but it would mitigate the problem of the police being fucking trash at it.

Right?! I'm autistic, too, and the things people try to blame on autism are just moronic.
Yes and what group allow pictures like that without reporting them? It's sick.
Their bodies must have been in a very secluded part of the park, as I can't imagine that no one else had come upon two dead bodies of women.
