Not that it matters in 2021, but Brandon was 14 when he started working on coding/drawing this project and actually made it when he was 17. This kid deserves everyone's full unironic respect. Not only did he create a game, he created and *ORIGINAL game.* Not some Candy Crush For Christ.
And this is why I love SuperMega. They totally could have turned this into 6 episodes at 10 minutes each, but we got it all at once. Truly, God has blessed us all with these good good boys.

Just a charming detail I noticed is that the protagonist's name is Sight becomes he alows things that people couldn't see before to come into vision, namely, the belief in God. The general idea around it is that "Sight" gives the people the ability to see their faith. Also, just wanna mention that I loved watching this so much
it’s cheesy but still wholesome, you can see how he tries so hard to be mario odyssey with the weird electric transport thing, the ties, the tiki costume, the sombrero, but he also is inspired by Smash (maybe Borderlands) with the little vignettes introducing the characters. The art and the fact it’s got a religious theme is too easy a target to make fun of, like other Christian games are usually soulless educational shite meant to sucker in soccer moms to give to their kids, where the development and end result is usually shovelware anyway. It’s fair criticism then, but in this you can tell Brandon tried his absolute hardest to make a game, this was the best he could do, and you can’t hate him for that. It’s got this Wakaliwood-style charm to it. The one upload with the trailer for this game that I think Brandon is in charge of is already getting some “SuperMega sent me” but so far none of them are malicious or they’re hiding some jab under irony. Honestly I wanna see more from this dude and I hope this exposure gives him inspiration over anxiety
I am very glad I spent an hour watching this. Thank you Matt and Ryan for spending more than an hour playing this, and thank you Brandon for spending so long to make this game. As a Christian gamer, I appreciate this. And I am disappointed in myself to say I did not get all the trivia right.
I was one of those kids whose parents made them go to weekly bible school but I literally never read the actual bible and I cannot recall a single line from it other than the most basic stuff my teacher would summarize for us anyway, so I'd probably lose this game's bible trivia without any context clues
