Mister Sinister has always been underrated, he was one of my MVPs for getting Uncollected back then because he can block the Collector's unblockable specials. It's nice to see him much better now.
He was rated correctly - as dogshit champion. You being unskilled and getting help from his hax "blocking unblockable" is not enough to say character was underrated. At least the update brings him back to the game, finally.
What i love is that he is now a better champ to bring alongside apoc instead of cable to get the synergy. Both Apocalypse and Mr Sinister get massive bonuses from that synergy.
Damn this dude is pretty crazy for long form content now. Can only imagine he's gonna be great for players in Necropolis going forward. High dot like Kate/Shuri, blocking unblockable specials like Shuri, and crazy regen/bulk like Wong.
I love how some champions in game can now have permanent dot effects if you know how to use them. Personally, I think shuri is broken for long form content once she’s fully ramped and just us to parry and heavy.

You know what I have to give props to Kabam on this one. Initially I was worried that they were paywalling a direct counter to bullseye with negasonic teenage warhead but this buff is a great alternative counter to bullseye.
The return of Sam Wilson. Great counter. Good for Onslaught also, ruptures work. With bulwark can parry. Works very well against Sinister. With BG scoring change….. He’s right on the cusp of a very good or even great tech champ. Shame they didn’t tweak his damage just a tad. He looks amazing to. Such a great design. Still might rank him. Damage, sadly, matters. I don’t know why Kabam is just stingy enough…to keep folks from enjoying and using their work more 🤷🏻♂️ I get utility. But plenty of champs get utility and damage. BG only one game mode though…..
Hey karate big fan, but i noticed u were knocking down with heavy and then throwing specials. If u parry, charge heavy, u can throw special as soon as the 2nd purple energy animation happens and you dont have to risk them blocking special or doing something weird. Just slightly more consistent
He’s a Maestro counter too! Used my R2 6* Sinister against an ascended Maestro. The concussion on his sp2 is negating Maestro’s glancing for good damage. Time to rank up. But I’m all out of high end cats ;(
I’m only concerned about the heavy attack stuff, because of defenders in endgame content are immune to parry and if you can’t parry, how will you heavy
They made him good, but not THAT good. He is useful in matches where you can parry freely, but take parry away, and he's useless. If they wanted him to stay relevant in that places, they would make his heavy work like Chavez, or just build in a safe mechanism for when you hold heavy.
Yes , best way to counter Sinister is to use heal blocking robot champs , Warlock ( infection counts ) , viv , Omega sentinel. Just heal blocking with non robot champs is not the best idea as he will inflict degen on you with his sp1 , Unless it's a robot

You can stack degen like mad with Stupefy. Almost 20 from my attempts so far. And it's crazy strong at high rank.
