It was a low risk tornado day… 3:57. But I’ve been warning all my friends, or wife’s friends/ family that live in 2% risk area.. because this season has been, the season of 2, and 5% areas getting wrecked. Most my friends and family.. are local, or west coast. Or never in country so they’re fine haha

Mitch, I'm so glad you don't hype the bee jeebers out of your forecasts. There is a guy I used to follow on YT and based upon the titles of his videos you would think everyday it's an all out severe weather outbreak. Needless to say, I unsubscribed from him.

Last night in Pittsburgh, we had a rare EF1 tornado rip through the area. I got very lucky as it missed my house by about 1500 feet, but it caused some damage to surrounding houses. Please join me in praying for all families affected last night 🙏

Power is out again here in central Louisiana. Running on my solar batteries again. A few storms moved in and the power started flickering and quit. Not sure why because it was a little thunder and light rain. I`ve been out in the rain doing gardening and picking blackberries for breakfast. We had some beautiful electrical storms with sheet lightning to my east around 10pm. The sheet lightning passed overhead a few times as I watched it. I heard people cheering in the distance. Ha!

ya about the aurora. i found out about them after they were over and the 2nd wave hit after i went to sleep.
Thank you Mitch for every update you give and have given to us all. I have to say that it has been very insane these past months with these severe storms. Im in Oklahoma area and near some of the places that were impacted severely over the past few week. I Don t ever say anything but I had said in the beginning of this year I have a weird feeling about our weather this year. Im not a meteorologist or can see into the future. All I know is for some reason in my life I have been extremely lucky with death. A fire took out rvs right next to mine last year before the bad wind storm and the RV 5 feet next to mine caught fire and took out all the other rvs out next to it and didnt do anything to mine due to direction of the wind. The rvs that caught fire were empty rvs so no one was hurt. I live on a small RV storage lot as security. But I had purched a newer RV to move into and placed it maybe 20 feet from my old RV and moved into it. The night the wind storm happened a massive tree fell on my old RV and this was a few weeks after i had moved out. There are more and more situations I ca nt explain since this comment is to long. 1 day something will happen as it does to everyone. I used to be very much a believer or Christian but a lot of things has happened and made me rethink. I do believe there is a creater but I Don t think he is listening due to what humanity has been doing to this beautiful earth and i feel mother nature has stepped in to try and rid us of her destruction the we have and are causing. So if there really is a true caring god. Ask him to forgive us all and and start fighting the evil within so the good can be.

Any severe weather should be magnified because of the geomagnetic storms. That energy has to go somewhere and not just pretty lights in the sky.

I've missed a few days of your videos cuz I was sick, but this past Wednesday we had 2 tornados one an ef1 and an ef0 that did some damage in Gaston county NC.

@@MitchWestWeather during the big storm a bit ago. i noticed my raingauge cap was lose so some of the heavy rain likely escaped. i fixed it now for the rest of this mcs rainshield but ugh, so lame. but if it overflows it means i got over a foot and cant report anymore anyway, lol
@@MitchWestWeather looks like the storms decided to train offshore, not too surprising., wont get anything decent until the final batch later tonight and id bet a fortune that its in and out as in, the storm hits and moves on quickly. just like the 1st one a few hours ago
