Martina was huge for me when I was coming out in the 80’s - I would definitely have been part of the crowd that was cheering and clapping for her at Wimbledon, now I wish I’d cheered louder 😂

I like Martina and always felt it was really cool that she was out but have to be honest...I was more of a Evert and Graf fan so I fear in matches..I was rooting for them when they played Martina...and then there was Gigi...lesbians knew she is gay😉 Regarding the abortion rights...fickin' disgusting how imo American money is working at creating anti abortion marches in Europe. rying to set the clock back in the Netherlands for instance...suddenly it is supposedly an" ïssue" again when I do not now any Dutch woman who feels we need to rethink the right to abortion. Anyway..even today Martine is also an icon for actual feminists and lesbians! So kudos to her for being a patron to that newly formed Lesbian Project UK. And Kudos to you Julie and Kathleen Stock for that iniattive👍💪❤

Actually the move is to codify the right to abortion at the Federal level. Not the opposite. (And pls leave recycling out of it. It's quite over-rated and often counter-productive so..)

Apart from being the GOAT of women's tennis she stands up for people like me who don't have a voice and to have someone like Martina fighting your corner is quite remarkable!!!. It fills me with tremendous pride especially when I play tennis at my local club that everyone know that I'm a HUGE Martina fan not only for what she's done on the court but off it as well. Someone as special like Martina comes along once in a lifetime and her achievements will live long and never be forgotten. Thank you Martina for making my life and millions of others a lot better because of your courage and strength over the years and please know that you're loved and adored more than you know!!!.
