    They brutally murdered me for being an out of the closet gay individual in my country . And they got away scott free after committing the most perfect honour killing of a young gay person . I am too devastated and heart broken by the impact of it all. Left with nothing but shattered dreams and tales of another broken home of a gay person .

      Stu Yr Ogof what exactly is he 'forcing down your throat'? I must have missed the part of the interview where he went into graphic details about all his favourite sexual acts. Suicide rates are sky high among gay youths struggling to come to terms with their sexuality because of people like you who make them feel like there's something inherently wrong with them. Why not just let people live their lives and be happy.

    • @S2Tubes

      Most comments are hating on his victim complex, not his sexuality.

      6:34 "the wider world doesn't accept you". I'm sure that has nothing to do with the visual signals he projects "look at me ... I'm special and you all have to accept me as I am. I reject the standards of behaviour of society and expect you all to accept me exactly as I want to be".
      Guess what. If one visually screams and behaves like "I reject society's norms and standards", society in general will be happy to return the favour and it doesn't matter whether one is straight or a member of the LGBT-alphabet soup.
      There are plenty of LGBT-members that lead very ordinary and happy lives and that can barely be distinguished form ordinary heterosexual people. Most people wouldn't bat an eye if they told them they're of a different sexuality and people will treat them exactly as they treated them before.
      But behave as a self-important tosspot, and you will receive pushback.
      I know, this sounds pretty conformist, but that is the general nature of any society, though some latitude will be given for personal differences .... within limits of behaviour.

      @user-tq2ho1so7l 6 років тому +1

      Roy Kliffen so are you saying as long as lgbt people act straight they wont have an issue? And if they dont want to? Then theyre attention seeking and think theyre special? And the way he *choses* to dress has nothing to do with the sexuality he didnt chose

    • @user-tq2ho1so7l
      @user-tq2ho1so7l 6 років тому +2

      Kalameet why do we need it though? Why is homosexuality such a big issue that must be cured? Let people live their lives without being told theyre ill and wrong for something they didnt chose- you are the reason for the high suicide rates in the community

    Everyone in our community should respect each other no matter what their sexuality is and I think that Olly should be well respected as he is looking out for the LGBT people and he is getting no credit for it but I think Olly should be supported in everyway possible to make our community better and more supportive. So well done Olly and we all love you so much!!!!

    I'm gay and I reject the whole idea of gender fluidity. Identify however you want but don't expect everyone else to accommodate your feelings. I don't expect everyone to be on board with gay marriage and adoption?

      Have you seen the comments of this video? Homophobia is still an issue clearly

    • @garygansbrubaker
      @garygansbrubaker 6 років тому +3

      The Ablutionist On this 50th Anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of Homosexuality and next year is the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City marks a remarkable Era that deserves praise for being stunning and brave. Age of Consent took decades and created many legal issues for LGBTQI youth.
      I remember when I was 19 and my partner was 21. I was just two years younger than him, he was my childhood best mate and that discrimination was difficult to understand that is was okay for some to sign into the Military, go to conflicts where lives are at stake, yet two young men that loved each other dearly was wrong.
      Section 28 was another piece of Homophobic Legislation that took far too long to strike down, so a discussion by a young artist whose life remains relevant by the remnants of these homophobic Laws matter. Societal impressions and prejudice does not evaporate once the Law to Repeal is taken for the Queen's Assent.
      I believe it's still very brave. Are you LGBTQI?

    I don't like men kissing each other in their mouths, sorry I am 60 and can't help it. That is MY problem, not yours. I struggle with the way I was raised. Your right of Freedom is well above my tastes. But, I do not accept that the law may force me to like it, either.

    • @pin9411
      @pin9411 6 років тому +8

      Thats right, it IS your problem. But this is about acceptance and basic human rights like being able to hold hands on the street or -sorry- kissing the one you love. If you can't see that, it is your job to look away. No one forces you to like it, thats not the point.

      True even I'm a fan of Olly. I'm old school I believe there is a reason why men and women are different because of nature. Men and women are built differently biologically and you can't change that.
