God bless you sir.
But isn't Christmas a pagan holiday.

@@Bible_Alive traditions and celebrating Jesus are 2 different things, it's nit in the bible though
Why not celebrate Jesus' birthday on December 25th? We don't know the exact date of Jesus' birth, but most Christians around the globe enjoy having a day marked out when we can celebrate the birth of Christ, and Dec 25th is as good a day as any. Merry Christmas everyone! ❤

Spreading the gospel:
Jesus’ Birth: Christmas reminds Christians of God’s love, as expressed in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son...”
The Incarnation: It celebrates Jesus’ coming into the world as God in human form, bringing hope and salvation.❤

Thats not what Christmas is about tho

The shepards did too.

But that celebration was the end of September or beginning of October...
Nobody knows exactly the day...
But for sure was not December 25.
That's the Roman date to worship the god sun ☀️.
@@MariaNunes-po5rc No it actually wasn't. Sol Invictus, the pagan sun god for Rome, was celebrated during the months of October and November. It wasn't until the rise of Christianity and the celebration of Christmas that Sol Invictus suddenly had a birthday on Dec 25th. Not only that, but those who worshipped Sol Invictus were part of a cult that was condemned by the Roman Empire.
Everyday is Christmas, we should celebrate Jesus everyday. We shouldn’t just be loving and giving to one another during the holidays, we should do it everyday.

Saying Jesus "Got the snot kicked out of him & nailed to a cross" is the greatest understatement of all time. Look up a cross-examination of the anatomy of Christ's punishment. On top of this: on the spiritual level we can not see, & the affliction that makes his physical death look utterly painless in comparison--he was literally carrying the burden of every single act of human iniquity ever committed & all the heartache trauma torment horror guilt & regret that comes with it, on him.
The words of Jesus in Mathew 5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
He never talks about what Jesus actually said. He only says his own words. Follow Jesus not some guy looking for attention.

I don’t even know what to think of Christmas anymore after learning how it actually originated and came to be.
I would highly encourage you to watch Inspiring Philosophy's video called "The Shocking Truth about Christmas!" It describes how Christmas came to be and how it is not pagan at all. For example, the reason December 25th is the day christmas is celebrated is because the early church believed that prophets die on the same date of their conception and thought he died on March 25th. Therefore, nine months after conception, Jesus would have been born on Dec 25th. Hope this helps!
It is possible to celebrate Jesus and do away with all of the traditional man-made/pagan stuff 👍
I think you missunderstood something christian celebrate christmas on dec 25 the same day other pagan holliday because its the only day they can so they will not get arrested because on that day Christian are persecuted
@@laurenalmeyda6916 You don’t have to do a Christmas tree, decorate your house inside and out or send Christmas cards or exchange gifts or have large family get togethers with delicious meals and treats. You don’t have to attend worship services, candlelight Christmas Eve services or listen to the children’s choir sing praises to God and hear prayers of thanksgiving to God for Jesus Christ. You can just stay in your own house with just yourself , by yourself.
The origins of Christmas and the Christmas tree are not pagan. They are Christian. Don’t believe the rubbish you see on the internet. It’s false. The fact is no pagan god was ever born on dec 25th. And look up the account of St. Boniface and the origins of the Christmas tree, very interesting
Everything that you do or done with love in His name it's Christmas day... every day is Christmas in Jesus name...
Christmas is a sungod worship festival.. birthday of sungod mithra...Jesus was born in April or March.
You must not celebrate Christmas...u indirectly worship the sun God mithra..
I'm starting to realise the true value of Christmas. Yes it has pagan origins but it can really be a time where people can be more open to Jesus Christ than usual ! This can lead to breakthroughs in awareness about Jesus Christ which is a very great thing !! 🙏🔥❤️🔥🕊️👑🦁✝️♾️❤️🔥🔥
It's awesome to see the value in Christmas. And just to add, rumors about Christmas having pagan origins have been greatly exaggerated.
Here's the origin story: A few early Christians believed that Jesus would have been conceived on the same date that he died (see Tertullian, St Theophilus). Since They believed that he died on 25 March, he would have had to have been conceived on 25 March, and therefore born 9 months after 25 March, which is 25 December. They wrote around 180-203 AD.
The Roman festival of Saturnalia was on 17-23 December, not the 25th. The Romans added in the festival of Sol Invictus on 25 December, but this only occured in 274 AD, decades after early Christians declared the date.
So basically, no pagan origins of Christmas, so let's celebrate the birth of Christ! 🎉
@@davidvangroeningen7576 Preach! ✨✝️🎄
You can’t mix both. That’s like mixing oil and water. Jesus is too holy and way too much to be compared to a pagan tradition. That has nothing to do with Jesus, and celebrating this tradition is agreeing to evil traditions, you just said it yourself it’s PAGAN tradition. It’s sad because most of the time people make the excuse of “family time”, to celebrate. Family time can be anytime, why on a pagan traditional celebration???

The reason for why the date for Christmas being on Dec 25th is actually kind of interesting.
The early church believed that prophets would die on the same date of their conception.
They then calculated when Jesus died during Passover and came to the date of March 25th.
If you then add nine months you get Dec 25th.
Merry Christmas everyone!

@@DrEcKiGeRDaN88 No. You really should do some real research.
As a Catholic, if you go to Mass every day or every Sunday and pay attention to the Liturgy of the Word, the whole year, every year, revolves around the Life of Christ. The Liturgy of the Word readings is about the Life of Christ compiled in one year. Almost every day is a Feast from the Annunciation, to the Advent, to the Birth or Nativity , to Jesus’ ministry, to the 40 Days of Jesus in the dessert which is Lent, the Holy Week ( the Jewish Passover) , to the Passion on the Cross, to the Resurrection and the 40 days leading to His Ascension (from the Acts of the Apostles reading). It’s all about Jesus’s life, continuing His Ministry, to be a good son and daughter of our Father and to love and help our brothers and sisters in Christ.
No one knows the day the hour He was born die or coming back His return however is imminent
Cliffe likes to debate college students but when he debates a atheist scholar he gets torn apart 😅
I agree 100%. And it’s also relevant that the date was calculated from the Jewish Levitical calendar and historical events recorded in Luke and Matthew.
That's a lie, wise men wont sit outside in a month like December to watch over their flock, its winter
That s right❤ They have created a culture to generate money, the Bible does not talk about Christmas, the important thing is that Jesus is real and gave his life for each of us, many celebrate Christmas but do not follow in his footsteps, how ironic, Jesus is real, because he is It is so difficult to believe in him, they have tried to hide the truth, but they have not been able to.
Christmas Day is a good reminder to the world that Jesus came for all of us. Celebrate it in the Name of Jesus!
Where is that in the Bible? A Christian must not make compromises with the world.
It makes sense that the Lamb of God was born during lambing season which isn't in December. I've read and heard others point this out. However, I think of Jesus at Christmas time and it's a truly joyful time.
True man of God there's no 25 december born day of JESUS in the bible, this day is not for JESUS as you can see alot of sins happening on that day, so everyone who celebrate 25 dec as birthday for JESUS must repent!!! It is the day of evil, you can see people are killed, fornication, stealing, drinking beer, smoking. Its not the day of JESUS but for the devil, read Jeremiah 52:28-34 you will understand who's real owner of that day. The whole bible there's no 25 of December for JESUS birthday but only that verse, so believers lets escape from the plans of devil and be holy!! May God help us ❤
Lets celebrate everyday, you can set the day you receive JESUS to be your Lord and saviour to be his birthday to your heart!!!

Sins happen every day. Including Christmas. Is every day a day for the devil? No! Every day is a day to celebrate Jesus. Including December 25th
Christmas is not the birthday of Jesus, but it is the celebration of his birthday
Its a cultural tradition I grew up in too, but my conscious and the Holy Spirit has led me to reject the Christmas trees, December 25th as an observed day, Santa Claus, Commercialism, "Christmas music". There is no commandment from God or his Word to observe Christmas. Jesus was born in the Fall. The historical origin is after the customs of Satanic paganism, worshipping other gods, and picked up by the institution of the Roman Catholic Church of the 4th century, which was a False Church with no authority to make their own holy days. Same goes for Easter, and sadly not enough of us Christians are keeping God's holy feast of Passover. I have plenty of family and friends who do Christmas and get the tree and give gifts, etc, and it's not my place to judge them. I was once like them. I'm now convicted to be set apart from all that going forward, have been for several years. Worshipping God the way He said to worship is more important to me than the traditions handed down to me from generations past. Jesus had something to say about keeping the traditions of man and how that was getting in the way of keeping God's commandments. Everyone should follow their own conscious and the leading of the Holy Spirit on this.
Well God commands us to love Him so Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship services are just another occasion to show God love and worship Jesus Christ God incarnate. Now if you feel that you must comply to what other people do, then that’s on you , but I worship Jesus Christ on Christmas Day and my husband and I raised our four children to worship on Christmas Day, and they worship with their families on Christmas Day. I don’t see a problem because God celebrated Jesus birth in Luke 2: 8-14. Now if God took the time to announce His birth and celebrate it, shouldn’t we who name the name of Jesus do likewise?
There is nothing pagan about Christmas.
Trees- tree of life from the feast of Adam and Eve
Santa- Saint Nicholas of Myra turned into a metaphor of Christ
12/25- date calculated biblically and traditionally. Same day as Hanukkah revealing an epic theological implication.

Jesus wasn't born in 1 AD. The Book of Matthew says that Jesus was born during the reign of King Herod and since King Herod died in 4 B.C, we can say that Jesus was born before 4 B.C. It is also written that King Herod ordered to kill all male babies aged 2 years old and below so Jesus birth is between 6 - 4 B.C. Though the exact day is debatable and none have biblical support.
Christmas is in our HEARTS
Matthew 26:36-44 (NIV)
36 Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.
38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.
41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
42 He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”
43 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy.
44 So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
This man is a great lier. He and other Christians in the church hide the truth, Jesus was a prophet, he was one of other messengers of Allah. He himself prayed and submitted to One Allah (God).

If I’m not mistaken, December 25th was chosen to spread out festivities and celebrations across the year, as many of the early Church’s festivals were around the Easter period. So the celebration was moved to winter to add a festive time in an otherwise dreary time and managed to isolate the celebration of one of the most important holidays in Christianity.
By early Christian you mean Catholics.

Jesus should be born every day in our hearts but Christmas reminds people who forget this in a special way. Same as Easter. Jesus comes to us every Sunday like it's Easter but one day in a year people are reminded of his, especially those who have perhaps lost their faith.
Actually the Bible says to abstain from all appearance of evil. Christmas is actually based off of a pagan holiday. So I abstain from Christmas or Halloween they're the same to me because they're both paganistic!? And I don't celebrate the birth of Jesus because God says greater is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof I celebrate his death and I celebrate his resurrection because without those I wouldn't have eternal salvation. I think that's what more people should be focused on❤
Christmas has absolutely no roots in paganism. This is a lie to attack Christianity and id argue that dedicating a day to celebrating Christ is nowhere near evil
Christmas is about expressing great joy through celebration in remembrance of the time that Jesus, the Messiah was born in this world to give us the gift of salvation. It's aligned in Luke 2:10-11
