Some are brought up to believe they are special and so they have a sense of entitlement because mummy and daddy tell them so. There's no way as a child I would have dared answered an adult like this. I want this message to get to pastor mark Finley, his book entitled, when God said remember, changed my life after reading it. From a Catholic I was converted to an Adventist. God is good, his mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalms 100:5 The truth is found in the bible. Adventist doctrines are bible based, no additions and no subtractions from the truth. This is the true church in this world. A church which is the true bride of Jesus Christ, the bridegroom.

Thank you. I have never heard such a clear explanation of Daniels prophecies. I have been praying to know more about Almighty God and our Lord and Saviour and listened to many sermons but this was so precise, it was wonderful.
You do know that this man is a false prophet, right? He is part of the seventh day Adventist cult...which is not part of Christ's body and believes in a different gospel than the Gospel taught in the Bible. Falsr prophets use the Bible and mix in lies. Satan did the same thing to Jesus and twisted scripture. For example: If I gave you a glass of pure and clean water but dropped one drop of poison into the water....would you still drink it? Why not? The same is with scripture. Remember that the Bible interprets itself, meaning that scriptures explain scriptures. If there are any contradictions found then the interpretation must be inaccurate. May Christ lead you in truth...because only being lead to truth is not sufficient. Believing is knowing why yoi believe, and Who you believe on will matter most. There is only 1 Jesus Christ who saves, but many false christs who people call Jesus, and then believe in this idol of their own imagination, who does not even exist. The seventh day Adventist believe in a works righteousness salvation....whereas the true Gospel of salvation is solely resting in Christ's life, death, and resurrection alone for salvation that then produces works of evidence of saving faith and belief. Pastor Mark Finley, Thank you for this very well presented message. I have come to learn that the SDA teachers present the truth far more accurately. As you may notice, I have not originated from the SDA. I was in New Zealand for eleven years and got to know the SDA teachings through the ''Firstlight'' broadcasting channel. We have for a number of years now tried to follow the SDA Sabbath day principle correctly, though perhaps not quite up to the proper SDA methodology.

I've been studying with the SDAs for the past few yrs, and was receptive to what they teach. Though I've not read much of EW and was a bit wary of her, and the 1844 prophecy seemed a bit strange to me. So in recent months I was listening to a few challenges to adventism, but nothing really stuck, and I got no clarity. So I was praying sincerely many times, and I mean in a deep and sorrowful way, a sorrowful longing for the truth. Then whilst preparing a study for Sabbath school I came across the cleansing of the sanctuary. Then God led me into this, and opened my eyes so clearly, was amazing. My conclusion, and I spent many hrs and days going over Daniel's prophecies, is that there is Zero substance to the 1844 prophecy. No connections between the little horns, nor the vision in ch 9 explains ch 8 vision. I read the acct of antiochus and he fits perfectly. He was trying to wipe out the faith in Israel. I did several word studies, which every one of them even further removes any supposed connections. The word used for saints in ch7 is different to the holy people in ch8. The word for vision in ch9 vs 23 is different to the ch8 vision. Ch 8 days is broken down into literal mornings and evenings, whereas the prophetic days in ch12 vs 11 is a word that can be figurative for a period of time. Cleansing in ch 8 means to restore, and is different to the cleansing of the sanctuary ceremonially. And clearly the little horn in ch8 comes out of Greece, and cannot be Rome. As in ch7 rome is it's own beast, and the little horn there comes from within it. Also how does Gods heavenly sanctuary get trodden underfoot?? Or how can a transgression make the heavenly sanctuary desolate?? Was rome doing away with the daily sacrifices for those hundreds of yrs before Jesus came? The SDA interpretation is entirely false. It is assumption built upon false assumption, that builds an entirely false structure. Regarding the investigative judgement, well that collapses because 1844 is a lie. But just to be sure, which sanctuary is being cleansed by Jesus's blood? It is the sanctuary within us, that the Holy Spirit may dwell within us, and we are born again. Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. I was watching archeological videos that trying to establish some facts surrounding the question who was messiah, I was quite intrigue for the fact that most of the findings was distorted and not one single of the authors have mentioned the booked of Daniel except for Habbakuk, Jeremiah and other prophets. I was enlightened to know that Pastor Mark has put to rest heresy and discrepencies surrounding the bible truth. Keep these factors in mind: 1) -Jesus is expected to return according to the Bible at the end of the 6th Millennium, which according to Biblical Chronology and EGW falls around 2027ad to 2031ad , 2) -but since Jesus said that He was to shorten his time of return (Mat 24:22) therefore knowing He is expected to return at the end of the 6th millennium (2027ad to 2031ad)....then when saying He is to return sooner than expected, that means sooner than 2027ad and even sooner than 2031ad... at the latest which means Jesus is returning certainly even sooner than the 6th Millennium as expected.... since the types show a shortening of 3.5 years before the end of the final Sabbatical Week (2023ad to 2029ad/jubilee2030ad, 2031ad is not included since most of that year did not take place, since Jesus died at the start of that year, as such that year for the most part does not form part of the timeline), therefore we will subtract 3.5 years from the expect ed end of the 6th millennium (whether 2027ad to 2030ad) as follows= END OF THE 6TH MIL. MINUS 3.5 YEARS-------> ? THE END 2027ad to 2030ad ====(minus) 3.5 yrs======> 2023ad 2026ad 3) that places the coming of the Lord, as anywhere between our present year, our times 2024ad to 2026ad (or 2027ad)similar to what its type Jerusalem told us above. Inspiring message. After I was called, I walked a sign that said, "REPENT SIN NO MORE Rev. 3:15-19". I walked around 21miles a day just over a year. I lost 100 lbs, 6'2" during that walking. It was a spiritual time I lived and matured in Fathers love for all humanity. Once I first started walking, it was 'out of fear of God'. But the more I walked, the more He would fill my soul with His love for me. So this is the new me, Have mercy on all, for there is no fear.

Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21:5-36, the Psalms, the law, the prophecies in the OT books like Zephaniah 1:14-16, Daniel, Isai etc, Ezekiel 41, the gospels, Hebrews and the book of Revelation .. the tribulation.. the three great series of judgments in Rev 16: -the series of the seven Seals (Rev 6 + 8:1) -the seven Trumpets, and -the seven Vessels.. alreády has been fulfilled 70AD. That was The End Times. IT IS FINISHED! (all of this were applicable to the people of Israel only, not the gentiles). The letters of Hebrews, James and Peter were all written to Jewish believers who had been scattered like "seed" among the nations due to persecution. In Matthew it is written several times "so that IT might be fulfilled". IT IS FINISHED! (everything that was prophecied over Jesus in the Psalms, the law and the prophets). Jesus' story fulfills Israel's story! Luke 18:31 Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. Luke 22:37 Jesus speaking.. 'For I say to YOU (the Jewish people) that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors'. For the things concerning Me HAVE AN END'. Luke 24:44 Then He said to them (thém), "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms CONCERNING me". John 4:34 Jesus said to them, 'My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and TO FINISH His work'. John 9:39 And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

I recently had a dream where I heard a voice say 27, as in 2027. I have had prophetic dreams all my life and have been having disaster scenario dreams for many many years now, well before I became a Christian. This dream of mine definitely had that vibe and my disaster scenario dreams combined with the growing madness and evil in the world and my own experiences with the demonic lead me to Christ. Now I know very well to listen when I’m told or shown something important. We are on the doorstep of the tribulation. I’m very unsure about a pretribulation vs prewrath rapture so I’m preparing myself and my family as fast as I can. Stuffs going to go sideways this year and speeding up as we move forward, no doubt about it.

Many preachers usually skip verse 26 of Chapter 9 of Daniel which says ; “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. ” Daniel 9:26 KJV A score is a period if 20 years. Threescore is 60 and two weeks which brings us to 62 weeks which is about 434 prophetic years. My question is, is the Messiah cut off after the 69 or 62 weeks in verse 26? If your answer is 69 weeks, kindly explain to me the context in verse 26 of Daniel 9🙏.
Good question. In this prophecy of the 70 weeks, angel Gabriel who is explaining the prophecy to Daniel divides the 70 weeks into 3. 7 weeks, 62 weeks, and then final 1 week. When you read vs. 25,, the angel gives 7 weeks for the streets and walls to be built again. Second, the 62 weeks is for the Messiah to appear. But this 62 weeks follows the 7 weeks. The Messiah did appear in 27 A.D. just as the prophecy predicted. But after the 62 weeks the Messiah is cut off. This happens at the middle of the final week. Hope it helps. This is the first time I have heard about Daniel's 70th week being intepreted as starting with the baptism of Jesus. I have heard for years from multiple teachers the 70th week is the time of anti-christ and tribulation. I will need to ponder this. I am not sure if he is right in this teaching or not but the end is the same - we are in the last days.

I thought the same, pastors and preachers have different interpretations of it. Its confusing at times. One thing I found in this video later after pondering is. At first he said Gabriel: the vision applies to the time of the end! But then he applied the entire prophecy to Jesus timeframe including the 70th week. Which some say it's about Antichrist!?? The 70 weeks began at 457 BC. and ended at 34 AD. This prophecy is talking about Jesus, our Messiah. I haven't read of a time Jesus made a covenant for seven specific years when he got baptised, nor is there much said in recorded history about the year 1844. I'm not saying it is not possible, it just seems that there needs to be more info before one can adopt the 'if the shoe fits, wear it,' idea.'

Does he believe in a 7 year tribulation and the rapture before it? What about the 144,000 Jews that are sealed? Pastor Mark is letting the Bible define the Bible. No where does the Bible ever teach a 2,000 year gap in the 70 week prophecy. There is no need for it.

Hi. We cannot integrate our own opinions when it comes to prophecy. The 2300 day prophecy and the first 70 weeks given for the Jews (cut off for Daniels people) to make an end of transgressions and to anoint the Most Holy is definitely talking about Jesus. If not Jesus then before denying these truths you must give an alternative that is biblical as to who the ‘Most Holy’ is and give us the biblical references so that we can study and understand. Who is the most Holy who was anointed and was cut off (but not for himself) at the end of 7 and 62 weeks and made an end to sacrifice and offering in the middle of the last week (70th week). Jesus was crucified right on time according to scripture. If you think that the Most Holy isn’t Jesus then please give an alternative that we can study because Jesus was the only one who is Most Holy and died for us, and made an end to sacrifice and offering. You may have not read about this interpretation before but this is STANDARD Protestant theology. It is through the study of these prophecies that the Protestant reformation came about and the antichrist was clearly identified. This is not new theology but is around 500 years old and ALL the reformers, from Martin Luther to Huss, even Sir Isaac Newton agreed. Even the Jews understand this prophecy but want to bury it. Read about the RABBINIC CURSE. The curse that rabbis put upon those who number the 70 weeks in Daniel 9: 24-27 because they know that it is a prophecy of the only true messiah Jesus Christ. The point that I am really putting across is that this theology being shared by Pastor Finley is not new, and you haven’t heard of it because the powers that be want it buried, BUT, thank God that He will never allow His word to be buried. Happy Sabbath to all. Oh my heart has been blessed. I love how the Holy Spirit through Pastor Mark Finley explained this Prophecy. I have saved it because I will watch again and take notes. Jesus is Coming!!
I've been studying with the SDAs for the past few yrs, and was receptive to what they teach. Though I've not read much of EW and was a bit wary of her, and the 1844 prophecy seemed a bit strange to me. So in recent months I was listening to a few challenges to adventism, but nothing really stuck, and I got no clarity. So I was praying sincerely many times, and I mean in a deep and sorrowful way, a sorrowful longing for the truth. Then whilst preparing a study for Sabbath school I came across the cleansing of the sanctuary. Then God led me into this, and opened my eyes so clearly, was amazing. My conclusion, and I spent many hrs and days going over Daniel's prophecies, is that there is Zero substance to the 1844 prophecy. No connections between the little horns, nor the vision in ch 9 explains ch 8 vision. I read the acct of antiochus and he fits perfectly. He was trying to wipe out the faith in Israel. I did several word studies, which every one of them even further removes any supposed connections. The word used for saints in ch7 is different to the holy people in ch8. The word for vision in ch9 vs 23 is different to the ch8 vision. Ch 8 days is broken down into literal mornings and evenings, whereas the prophetic days in ch12 vs 11 is a word that can be figurative for a period of time. Cleansing in ch 8 means to restore, and is different to the cleansing of the sanctuary ceremonially. And clearly the little horn in ch8 comes out of Greece, and cannot be Rome. As in ch7 rome is it's own beast, and the little horn there comes from within it. Also how does Gods heavenly sanctuary get trodden underfoot?? Or how can a transgression make the heavenly sanctuary desolate?? Was rome doing away with the daily sacrifices for those hundreds of yrs before Jesus came? The SDA interpretation is entirely false. It is assumption built upon false assumption, that builds an entirely false structure. Regarding the investigative judgement, well that collapses because 1844 is a lie. But just to be sure, which sanctuary is being cleansed by Jesus's blood? It is the sanctuary within us, that the Holy Spirit may dwell within us, and we are born again. Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. don't automatically assume this child is 'amazing.' Children today are given no boundaries, even in adventist homes. Some are brought up to believe they are special and so they have a sense of entitlement because mummy and daddy tell them so. There's no way as a child I would have dared answered an adult like this. Children should be seen and not heard.

Thank you. I have never heard such a clear explanation of Daniels prophecies. I have been praying to know more about Almighty God and our Lord and Saviour and listened to many sermons but this was so precise, it was wonderful.
You do know that this man is a false prophet, right? He is part of the seventh day Adventist cult...which is not part of Christ's body and believes in a different gospel than the Gospel taught in the Bible. Falsr prophets use the Bible and mix in lies. Satan did the same thing to Jesus and twisted scripture. For example: If I gave you a glass of pure and clean water but dropped one drop of poison into the water....would you still drink it? Why not? The same is with scripture. Remember that the Bible interprets itself, meaning that scriptures explain scriptures. If there are any contradictions found then the interpretation must be inaccurate. May Christ lead you in truth...because only being lead to truth is not sufficient. Believing is knowing why yoi believe, and Who you believe on will matter most. There is only 1 Jesus Christ who saves, but many false christs who people call Jesus, and then believe in this idol of their own imagination, who does not even exist. The seventh day Adventist believe in a works righteousness salvation....whereas the true Gospel of salvation is solely resting in Christ's life, death, and resurrection alone for salvation that then produces works of evidence of saving faith and belief.

The rejection of Our Messiah in the year 27 led (27 was a 4th year of shmittah) God in order to wait for another 7 year a new shmittah to count 40 years for judgment, so since 27 was a fourth year of shmittah, God waited until the year 30/31 (first year of a new 7 year shmittah) to start the countdown to the destruction of the second Temple from Jerusalem in the year 70 or 9 Av 3830 by the way it was a 5th year, symbolizing Grace, therefore the end of the Law, with the destruction of the Temple for a amazing Grace, because no more need for Temple --> because no more need for animal sacrifice --> New Testament / New Covenant.
Thus God destroyed the Temple in the year 70, exactly 43.5 years later....(3.5 years of waiting then 40 years later, just and precise ---> destruction of the second Temple).
Each time Israel willfully sinned in their folly, and without any repentance, God multiplied the sentence for their sin by 7:
40 x 7 added in the year 70 makes 350 and in the year 350 was the talmud's edition.
So God multiplies again by 7.... 280 x 7 + 70 ---> 2030...
God's ultimatum therefore expires in 2030 exactly on the 1st Tishri 5791 or on the evening of September 27, 2030....
REPENTANCE IS NECESSARY FOR ISRAEL FOR GOD'S FORGIVENESS.
Fortunately, a remnant of Israel will repent and turn to their Mashiach YESHUA Our Lord, the One they crucified in the year 27 ----> thus at Passover, Sunday April 25, 2027 ---> Just 2000 years or 40 jubilees like the 40 years of wandering in the desert ---> God will take care of Israel after part of the Jewish people turned to God imploring his help, through Yeshua which means REDEMPTION, He represented at the time of the exodus, the door because He is The Door of each dwelling it is His pure Blood, shed on the Cross like that of the lamb during the exodus from Egypt.

I've been studying with the SDAs for the past few yrs, and was receptive to what they teach. Though I've not read much of EW and was a bit wary of her, and the 1844 prophecy seemed a bit strange to me. So in recent months I was listening to a few challenges to adventism, but nothing really stuck, and I got no clarity. So I was praying sincerely many times, and I mean in a deep and sorrowful way, a sorrowful longing for the truth. Then whilst preparing a study for Sabbath school I came across the cleansing of the sanctuary. Then God led me into this, and opened my eyes so clearly, was amazing. My conclusion, and I spent many hrs and days going over Daniel's prophecies, is that there is Zero substance to the 1844 prophecy. No connections between the little horns, nor the vision in ch 9 explains ch 8 vision. I read the acct of antiochus and he fits perfectly. He was trying to wipe out the faith in Israel. I did several word studies, which every one of them even further removes any supposed connections. The word used for saints in ch7 is different to the holy people in ch8. The word for vision in ch9 vs 23 is different to the ch8 vision. Ch 8 days is broken down into literal mornings and evenings, whereas the prophetic days in ch12 vs 11 is a word that can be figurative for a period of time. Cleansing in ch 8 means to restore, and is different to the cleansing of the sanctuary ceremonially. And clearly the little horn in ch8 comes out of Greece, and cannot be Rome. As in ch7 rome is it's own beast, and the little horn there comes from within it. Also how does Gods heavenly sanctuary get trodden underfoot?? Or how can a transgression make the heavenly sanctuary desolate?? Was rome doing away with the daily sacrifices for those hundreds of yrs before Jesus came? The SDA interpretation is entirely false. It is assumption built upon false assumption, that builds an entirely false structure. Regarding the investigative judgement, well that collapses because 1844 is a lie. But just to be sure, which sanctuary is being cleansed by Jesus's blood? It is the sanctuary within us, that the Holy Spirit may dwell within us, and we are born again.

I was watching archeological videos that trying to establish some facts surrounding the question who was messiah, I was quite intrigue for the fact that most of the findings was distorted and not one single of the authors have mentioned the booked of Daniel except for Habbakuk, Jeremiah and other prophets. I was enlightened to know that Pastor Mark has put to rest heresy and discrepencies surrounding the bible truth. Keep these factors in mind:
1)
-Jesus is expected to return according to the Bible at the end of the 6th Millennium, which according to Biblical Chronology and EGW falls around 2027ad to 2031ad ,
2)
-but since Jesus said that He was to shorten his time of return (Mat 24:22) therefore knowing He is expected to return at the end of the 6th millennium (2027ad to 2031ad)....then when saying He is to return sooner than expected, that means sooner than 2027ad and even sooner than 2031ad... at the latest which means Jesus is returning certainly even sooner than the 6th Millennium as expected....
since the types show a shortening of 3.5 years before the end of the final Sabbatical Week (2023ad to 2029ad/jubilee2030ad, 2031ad is not included since most of that year did not take place, since Jesus died at the start of that year, as such that year for the most part does not form part of the timeline), therefore we will subtract 3.5 years from the expect ed end of the 6th millennium (whether 2027ad to 2030ad) as follows=
END OF THE 6TH MIL. MINUS 3.5 YEARS-------> ? THE END
2027ad to 2030ad ====(minus) 3.5 yrs======> 2023ad 2026ad
3) that places the coming of the Lord, as anywhere between our present year, our times 2024ad to 2026ad (or 2027ad)similar to what its type Jerusalem told us above.
(a variation of +or - 1 year, can be accounted for with various reasons, the death of Jesus in 31ad beginning of that year, as such that year mostly not forming part of the timeline, or could be due to variations between the secular and religious calendars, ect.)
4) ONE THING IS CERTAIN AND IT IS THAT JESUS NEVER SAID THAT HE WAS GOING TO RETURN AFTER THE END OF HIS EXPECTED DATE OF RETURN AT THE END OF THE 6th MILLENNIUM....
which means Jesus never said that his return was to be prolonged as to take place after the expected date of His return at the end of the 6th Millennium.... so whomever say Jesus is returning 1, 5, 10 or 100 years after the end of the 6th millennium is not reading the scriptures!

Inspiring message. After I was called, I walked a sign that said, "REPENT SIN NO MORE Rev. 3:15-19". I walked around 21miles a day just over a year. I lost 100 lbs, 6'2" during that walking. It was a spiritual time I lived and matured in Fathers love for all humanity. Once I first started walking, it was 'out of fear of God'. Feels so good to review this prophecy and all of its fulfilment teaches us to recognize that Jesus is the only sovereign power who controls everything in the universe. Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21:5-36, the Psalms, the law, the prophecies in the OT books like Zephaniah 1:14-16, Daniel, Isai etc, Ezekiel 41, the gospels, Hebrews and the book of Revelation .. the tribulation.. the three great series of judgments in Rev 16:
-the series of the seven Seals
(Rev 6 + 8:1)
-the seven Trumpets, and
-the seven Vessels..
alreády has been fulfilled 70AD. That was The End Times. IT IS FINISHED! (all of this were applicable to the people of Israel only, not the gentiles).
The letters of Hebrews, James and Peter were all written to Jewish believers who had been scattered like "seed" among the nations due to persecution.
In Matthew it is written several times "so that IT might be fulfilled".
IT IS FINISHED! (everything that was prophecied over Jesus in the Psalms, the law and the prophets). Jesus' story fulfills Israel's story!
Luke 18:31 Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished.

I recently had a dream where I heard a voice say 27, as in 2027. I have had prophetic dreams all my life and have been having disaster scenario dreams for many many years now, well before I became a Christian. This dream of mine definitely had that vibe and my disaster scenario dreams combined with the growing madness and evil in the world and my own experiences with the demonic lead me to Christ. Now I know very well to listen when I’m told or shown something important. We are on the doorstep of the tribulation. I’m very unsure about a pretribulation vs prewrath rapture so I’m preparing myself and my family as fast as I can. Stuffs going to go sideways this year and speeding up as we move forward, no doubt about it.

Many preachers usually skip verse 26 of Chapter 9 of Daniel which says ; “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. ”

A score is a period if 20 years. Threescore is 60 and two weeks which brings us to 62 weeks which is about 434 prophetic years.
My question is, is the Messiah cut off after the 69 or 62 weeks in verse 26?

Good question. In this prophecy of the 70 weeks, angel Gabriel who is explaining the prophecy to Daniel divides the 70 weeks into 3. 7 weeks, 62 weeks, and then final 1 week. When you read vs. 25,, the angel gives 7 weeks for the streets and walls to be built again. Second, the 62 weeks is for the Messiah to appear. But this 62 weeks follows the 7 weeks. The Messiah did appear in 27 A.D. just as the prophecy predicted. But after the 62 weeks the Messiah is cut off. This happens at the middle of the final week. Hope it helps.

This is the first time I have heard about Daniel's 70th week being intepreted as starting with the baptism of Jesus. I have heard for years from multiple teachers the 70th week is the time of anti-christ and tribulation. I will need to ponder this. I am not sure if he is right in this teaching or not but the end is the same - we are in the last days.
The 70th week has not started it will start when the prophecy of dan 9:27 is fulfilled, and the antichrist confirms a covenant for 7 years which is future

One thing I found in this video later after pondering is. At first he said Gabriel: the vision applies to the time of the end! But then he applied the entire prophecy to Jesus timeframe including the 70th week. Which some say it's about Antichrist!?? Whats the prophecy for time of the end then??

There are many who interpret the 70th week as the time of the anti-Christ and church undergoing tribulation. But there is no biblical basis to separate the 70th week from the other 69 weeks. The 70 weeks began at 457 BC. and ended at 34 AD. This prophecy is talking about Jesus, our Messiah. It correctly points out when he will be baptized, when his death is and the end of the probation for the jewish nation as the chosen people of God.

In Daniel 9:26, it clearly says: And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah (also called: The Anointed One, {it is always written in capital letters} and when the word "Prince" is next to "Messiah", {it is also written in capital letters} ) be cut off, but not for himself. And the people of the prince that shall come (also called: "the ruler who will come", or "of a coming prince" { it is always written in lowercase letters} ) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Jewish people would have never destroyed their own city and their temple. Everybody knows Rome did, therefore, that coming prince is from one of those ancient Rome's countries.
What Bible version are you reading?
I have 3 different Bible versions in three different languages, and in all of them the distinction is really clear between "Messiah the Prince" and that other "prince" with lowercase letters.

I haven't read of a time Jesus made a covenant for seven specific years when he got baptised, nor is there much said in recorded history about the year 1844. I'm not saying it is not possible, it just seems that there needs to be more info before one can adopt the 'if the shoe fits, wear it,' idea.'
I totally agree with you. The ‘He’ He is referring to Jesus is not at all correct. One more thing he seems to squash all three parts of sevens into one continuous 70 sevens is not very convincing.
I agree, I've never read of a covenant with Jesus happening. Plus the "if the shoe fits" would go perfectly with the 7 year tribulation. Does he believe in a 7 year tribulation and the rapture before it? What about the 144,000 Jews that are sealed? If anything I would say the last 7 years was a dual-prophecy of (Jesus being baptized to his death/resurrection) & (the 7 year Tribulation).
Pastor Mark is letting the Bible define the Bible. No where does the Bible ever teach a 2,000 year gap in the 70 week prophecy. There is no need for it.

The 70 Weeks of Years being completed already but the 7 Year tribulation is a copycat with the Anti-Christ dying and coming back to life like Jesus did. Maybe a false death or something of that sort. Either way we know there is a 7 Year Tribulation based on the book of Revelation.
Hi. We cannot integrate our own opinions when it comes to prophecy. The 2300 day prophecy and the first 70 weeks given for the Jews (cut off for Daniels people) to make an end of transgressions and to anoint the Most Holy is definitely talking about Jesus. If not Jesus then before denying these truths you must give an alternative that is biblical as to who the ‘Most Holy’ is and give us the biblical references so that we can study and understand. Who is the most Holy who was anointed and was cut off (but not for himself) at the end of 7 and 62 weeks and made an end to sacrifice and offering in the middle of the last week (70th week). Jesus was crucified right on time according to scripture. If you think that the Most Holy isn’t Jesus then please give an alternative that we can study because Jesus was the only one who is Most Holy and died for us, and made an end to sacrifice and offering. You may have not read about this interpretation before but this is STANDARD Protestant theology. It is through the study of these prophecies that the Protestant reformation came about and the antichrist was clearly identified. This is not new theology but is around 500 years old and ALL the reformers, from Martin Luther to Huss, even Sir Isaac Newton agreed. Even the Jews understand this prophecy but want to bury it. Read about the RABBINIC CURSE. The curse that rabbis put upon those who number the 70 weeks in Daniel 9: 24-27 because they know that it is a prophecy of the only true messiah Jesus Christ. The point that I am really putting across is that this theology being shared by Pastor Finley is not new, and you haven’t heard of it because the powers that be want it buried, BUT, thank God that He will never allow His word to be buried. I've been studying with the SDAs for the past few yrs, and was receptive to what they teach. Though I've not read much of EW and was a bit wary of her, and the 1844 prophecy seemed a bit strange to me. So in recent months I was listening to a few challenges to adventism, but nothing really stuck, and I got no clarity. So I was praying sincerely many times, and I mean in a deep and sorrowful way, a sorrowful longing for the truth. Then whilst preparing a study for Sabbath school I came across the cleansing of the sanctuary. Then God led me into this, and opened my eyes so clearly, was amazing. My conclusion, and I spent many hrs and days going over Daniel's prophecies, is that there is Zero substance to the 1844 prophecy. No connections between the little horns, nor the vision in ch 9 explains ch 8 vision. I read the acct of antiochus and he fits perfectly. He was trying to wipe out the faith in Israel. I did several word studies, which every one of them even further removes any supposed connections. The word used for saints in ch7 is different to the holy people in ch8. The word for vision in ch9 vs 23 is different to the ch8 vision. Ch 8 days is broken down into literal mornings and evenings, whereas the prophetic days in ch12 vs 11 is a word that can be figurative for a period of time. Cleansing in ch 8 means to restore, and is different to the cleansing of the sanctuary ceremonially. And clearly the little horn in ch8 comes out of Greece, and cannot be Rome. As in ch7 rome is it's own beast, and the little horn there comes from within it. Also how does Gods heavenly sanctuary get trodden underfoot?? Or how can a transgression make the heavenly sanctuary desolate?? Was rome doing away with the daily sacrifices for those hundreds of yrs before Jesus came? The SDA interpretation is entirely false. It is assumption built upon false assumption, that builds an entirely false structure. Regarding the investigative judgement, well that collapses because 1844 is a lie. But just to be sure, which sanctuary is being cleansed by Jesus's blood? It is the sanctuary within us, that the Holy Spirit may dwell within us, and we are born again.
