hi, it was very entertaining to see how far you can extend the rules. Maybe everyone recognizes that infantry needs a little push. Thanks for your great match reports, keep up the good work. Greetings from Germany
As Wellington once said: :it was "the nearest run thing you ever saw in your life". Great battle report. When you first announced the 'challenge' I immediatly thought of the nomadic waargh.
miners might actually be a funny thing to include in a line-of-doom list, so they can pop up behind the opposing inevitable line and rear charge them! it's probably not very effective, but it would be entertaining at the very least!
Love this content ! This IS WARHAMMER.! I think trying to destroy a line of dwarves is a perfect way to play the game ! And yes much better strategy in this game all around. More please.
Think I would ideally want the big boarboyz unit over to one side from an orc point of view, but then I also think Ed will know what he's doing so he will probably turn out to be right!
And win they did. I just felt that each of the orc units would be able to only get hit by few enough Rangers that they would win enough of their mini-combats to get the upper hand. And I guess that pretty much turned out to be the case. Something I hadn't really thought about was that with chariots (or anything with impact hits) going in and losing is in their interest as long as they don't get killed as it just means they'll get to charge again and do more impact hits as you can't really pursue effectively. With enough of them spaced correctly it should be possible to make that very likely. I initially thought Ed might have been a bit impatient (you weren't going to kill too much with shooting) and could have spent another turn being more precise with his spacing and making sure everything got in at once against the right targets, but it didn't matter and if anything bouncing once was all to the good for his cause.

@@MrCarnage187 Thank you for bringing a little carnage to the conversation.
The end of the line!
The line may be back... but maybe in a different form.

Impact hits seem like the best counter.

A line of Miners... I like the way you think.

It's 'Rowhammer' but watch out for my Napoleonic 'Columnhammer'.
If the enemy also has scouts that could hurt too.
Beastmen chariots in front ambush from the back?
Thanks Andy for the content. Any clues where your opponent sourced his Black Orc chariots from?
@JamesRutherford-c7x Converted Maw Grunta and Gore Gruntas.
The swine has also mustered in a line!
Will the dawi lines hold??
Tune in next time. Same line time, same line chanel!
Ive always assumed its pronounced Ool-layk-son
I don't think I've ever heard anyone say it out loud.
Haven't watched it yet. I think the Orcs should win.
