I've never seen a better episode of any show.

This show can easily be described as perfect! ....... Hey Now!
One of my favorite moments is directly after this scene with Artie leading Hank to the principal's office, with Hank biting his lip and sweating like a child knowing he's on his way to being punished
This Aged very well despite the early mid 90's guests.
The best part is they cut to Hank and Artie walking away from the set to total silence.
And you assume it means they stopped at the monologue.
And you find out they filmed an entire episode that only got worse. 🤣

I watched The Larry Sanders Show for Hank,and I knew there would be an episode where he hosted it.
Probably my top 3 favorite Larry Sanders Show episode.
Mine are Hank’s sex tape, Larry trying to figure out David Duchovny’s infatuation with him and Larry trying to bump Roseanne
They'll put on a Best Of Larry.
Artie's jaw drop kills me every time.
So great how he confesses what a shallow, petty, monster he is right before going on air. Always cracks me up lol

This was Hank's second night hosting. The first night he did okay, and got such a big head that no one could work with him. So Artie engineered this debacle to bring him back down.
Coulda used a "Hey now" at that moment...

the moment when i realized this wasn't just a funny show
it was funny and painful pretty close to real life and Garry Shandling did that himself to himself. That's why it was so great. He let everyone else shine.
