there is no "best" choice for low pass filters. their impact is super small usually, and different people has different preferences. so it's up to you to try them

i have the KBear diamond and would love to turn them into wireless arbuds but they use the 2 pin connector instead of the mmcx connector used here. Which adapters can you recommend to turn the KBear's into a wireless pair?

You can also get 2-pin adapter for those without mmcx connectors on earphones. Also, there are mmcx/2-pin adapter to 3.5mm convertor - lets say you want to use one for wired over the ear headphones - focal elegia as an example. I am not sure if there is a converter for Sennheisers HD650. But most importantly, if you do get a converter, get L-shaped converter.

If I remember right, they have some sound, and it can't be disabled. But I'm not 100% confident here, as I almost never use TWS for a really long time to let their battery run out
@@PortaFi thanks for the info. Yeah I just bought KZ AZ09 and it is so annoying that even I have a 30% remaining on my battery it keeps reminding me that batteries low and it won't shut up lol do you know any Bluetooth adapter that goes with IEMs that doesn't have that function
Inferior ))) Wired connection will give you deeper bass, more treble extension and usually a better stage. Of course considering that IEMs aren't a bottleneck
Thanks for the review. I'm very interested to use this with my JVC FDX1. I'm wondering, after the earpiece is attached to the adapter, how easy is it to detach from it? The reason I ask is that my old Fiio F9 Pro so tightly coupled to its stock MMCX cable that I cannot separate them. I read that this tight MMCX coupling was a common problem for Fiio.

@@dawnowl depends on IEMs you're going to use. In general, UTWS5 is better sonically, so I'd suggest them, but to unveil their full potential you'll need some nice IEMs (but not crazy expensive ones)
For someone that is looking for a ultra-budget alternative: KZ offers the AZ09, AZ09 Pro and the AZ10. I do not recommend the AZ09, the background noise makes it almost unusable in quiet environments. The AZ09 Pro fixes the background noise and adds APTX. The only issue I still run into is that the lowest volume setting is still pretty loud in quiet environments.

Totally agree with you. I use the KZAZ09pro. They’re really good. The high performance mode almost produces unnoticeable audio lag in games(cod mobile). I use it with iPadOS, need to check with android.

main difference will be due to codecs, aptX is slightly worse than LDAC, so receivers will be better

the UTWS5 mates up very well with the 7hz Timeless as its planar and the extra power makes them scale very good... they fit in the case perfectly...
