So nicely and easily explained....and finished item looks lovely! I’m 68 but planning to marry my 72yr old fiancé next May! Corona virus lockdown has spoilt it for us this year as we both have children and grandchildren etc etc who want to come! I want to look smart and classy, so have bought a lovely ivory lace shift dress, but feel too old for a usual veil, and the birdcage veil has grabbed my heart and I want to make that. I hoped to have 2-3 curved long (8”) feathers but dont know where to get these things from.
Thankyou so much for your time and inspiration to let so many of us learn how to do this. I’m so very grateful. I got married first time round when I was just 19! And my fiancé and I have been together now for 22 years, “ you can’t rush these things !”he says! Lol...,I don’t think 22yrs is rushing it! That’s how long my first marriage lasted. Life is very strange with all its twists and turns, just got to lose some weight and find comfy ivory shoes and make my birdcage veil! Thankyou again! Thanks for the tutorial, can you use other materials to make the glower instead of chiffon and tulle?
you can try, but I found that chiffon & tulle gives it a nice delicate touch to the flower. The chiffon has the soft effect & the tulle gives it some structure. Thank you for watching!
